In term of pure maths, you are better of regal'ing after you get T1 attack speed (no matter if you get attack speed alone or atk speed + prefixe) since then you get 3 mods and you have 1/3 chance to hit atk speed the first annul and then 1/2 to hit atk speed the 2nd annul instead of 1/2 and 1/2. if you only have atk speed T1, then regal and hope for the 50/50 W. great video!

@@nordvirus6671 That and a lot of these league start builds can be enhanced and perfected with more investment over time. For a lot of (more) casual players, a league starter is totally sufficient to do all content usually, just takes some time to enhance the gear (and starts becoming exponantially more expensive). When I did RF league start for the first time, I liked it so much I ended up just playing that whole league (Kalandra), plenty of divines had to be spent to make that build go insane. :)

Not sure if it was mentioned but you can risk anulling off the "cannot roll attacks" and save yourself 2 div. You can't remove the attack speed since it's an attack mod, and even if you remove +1 or the hunter mod you can just exalt them back on. (Wouldn't do it if I hit t1 hunter but yeah) but if you remove multimod then you have to accept and pay the 2div for a new multimod

For ubers you'd want crafted. It is a substantial dps increase (6.65m dps with quill, 8.39m dps with +3 bow. A 27% increase. The Endgame +3 gets around 10.5m dps)

The endgame variant only works if you have empower gem correct? Asking because I'm SSF and am yet to find empower and just ran through some PoB and it was a DPS loss to use the 'endgame variant' that has +2 socketed support gems. The biggest gains come from toxic rain gem level and running the 'endgame' without empower reduces its overall level.

yeah you can try and try to save some, but you have 2/4 chance that you will annul prefix and will have to re-exalt it and try another annul (thats circa +30c each time) and you may end up with worse chaos roll. On average you profit though

Honestly essences of dread might be so expensive that it could potentially not be worth it at all to craft the "budget" bow.. and for the super casuals.. don't expect to be able to afford a quill rain for the first week.. I've been around long enough to know what happens when you not only have multiple content creators playing the same build.. but also EVERY content creator praising a build as easily a top 3 league starter.. gonna be a rough go for a lot of the people watching these videos 😅

No, the cast speeds only applies locally to the bow so Wilma's wouldn't apply.

@@adalos1953 Casting speed isn't a local value, but a global. Weapon don't have a casting speed parameter instead of a/s. The base cast time is derived from the spell being used and and doesn't depend on the weapon base. Or I'm wrong?

Soooo, the regal slam added "+1 to level to socketed gems", so I now have a rare with only attack speed and the +1. Looking at craft of exile, seems if I now added "cannot roll attack mods" and slammed hunter's, I'd have 37% chance of getting the chaos dmg over time prefix, and 63% chance of bricking it with trash suffix. Not sure if I like this odds.

toxic rain is damage over time, a very small part of the damage is the explosion of the pods, that explosion does benefit from added chaos, but the bulk of the damage comes from what comes after the explosion, the chaos damage over time. This is why attack speed and dot multipliers are king in toxic rain.

While this is fine for people on a budget, it is still ~15% less dps than if you don't craft the multi mod and instead get "damage over time multiplier". so the BIS bow is +1 socketed gems, +2 socketed bow gems, Chaos multi, damage over time multi, attack speed, and increased chaos damage. As someone who has never crafted before but has quite a lot of currency, how to craft a BIS bow would be great to know.

Except exalts are 20c and hunter exalts are 1+ divine. But your method is correct and IF you can't get a hunter base for a good price, then going your route would be more economical. So really it comes down to how much you can get the base for. If its 20-50c for the base and then another 20-30c for each exalt, that will be cheaper than buying a hunter exalt.

It says you need an ilevel 80 to craft the +2 to support gems mod. So the ilevel 78 won't work.

It's a bench craft, you can just craft it on the ilvl78 bow. The reason you want ilv 78 is because of access to the tier 1 hunter mod (90-94% Chaos DoT). This mod has to be applied with an exalt, hence why you do need the ilv 78, unlike the bench craft, which doesn't require it (hence why you don't need 80).

There is a mistake with cost additional exalted orb + alteration's (becouse of a bit higher pref/suffix pool when alt spamm). U need just T1 attack speed rare bow WITHOUT influence, then multiple mod + cannot roll attack mod + exalt slam + hunter exalt slam.

This is not a mistake. To roll T1 attack speed is 1/154 with no influence vs. 1/163 with the hunter mods in the pool, which is not even 10c worth of alts even if you get unlucky with annuls. Since a hunter's exalt is at least 100c more than a regular exalt you come out way ahead just buying a hunter base (they are way less than 100c even early league) and using a few extra alts.

It's really not. A T1 attack speed and a t4 (lowest) hunter mod is around 10.5m dps on his build. With the hunter mod at T1, the attack speed needs to be at least t2 just to break even. Its also much easier to hit T1 atk speed with alterations than it is to roll a T1 hunter mod. So to recap, from best to worst: T1 Spd T1 Hunter T1 Spd T2 Hunter T1 Spd T3 Hunter T1 Spd T4 Hunter = T2 Spd T1 Hunter T3 Spd T1 Hunter And so on.
