Thanks, I am currently considering the purchase of VRay in February for interior lighting renderings. Since I am currently modeling my project in Sketchup your video and Alex's help me think about better material choices and how to prepare tags/layers better better to improve rendering time. So I am aware and I am better prepared now, so thanks again.

You're welcome Jobyna👋🏽😀. Yeah working with taga and layers not only speed up but also grant you an organized model to work with. Can't wait to see the renders you produce. Happy rendering 😀👍🏽

Thank you so much for this video. I tried some other tutorials, but your's is the one that was so simple to use, that I just made a great scene. It is sooo good that you enlarged the commands so we can easily see what you are showing us. Sometimes, it is so hard trying to work on your project and watching the tutorial in the same time. Thank you. I’m just going to browse your other videos and subscribe. Keep up the good work.

Hi, I’m facing issue with interior designer, requested a photorealistic image small room with requests of camera lens 8mm…. These this will effect and distort a photorealistic look on material and furniture? I’m Asking because I’m dealing with interior designer that want to fix Camera lens for me at 9mm and they still pretend a photorealistic image.

Hey Antonio, yes the image would be a bit distorted. And it depends on the shape and size of the space, if the space is big enough you can find better angles to shoot from

Wht should be the field of view angle ? 45- 60 ?
@ikrenders
@ikrenders 4 жыл бұрын
Hi there. Realistic Field pf views range from 50-60 degrees. Trying out different values ranging from 50 to 60 degrees will make sure you get the best and most realistic camera positions.

i dont have that black overlay which shows the area to be rendered. how do you add that? i always do trial render first to see what area is covered. edit: nevermind, i found it hahah. thanks for this though
@ikrenders

Hi. You simply go to Asset Editor > Settings > Render Output > Enable Safe frame. Thats what shows you the area to be rendered. Hope this helps. Cheers ✌🏾

Whats that tree plug in you've got?
@ikrenders
@ikrenders 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ivana, Its the Laubwerk Tree plugin for Sketchup. They have packs with various trees available on their website. All trees come as custom proxies. They're really nice. There's a free pack with about 7 trees that you can download.

Thats the safe frame. Its best used to know what is in frame for the render. Without it the visualizer might get some struggles in fixing the view

Hi, what is the best measurement for eye height? thanks from brazil
@ikrenders
@ikrenders 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Anderson. I'd say 1700mm. Thats the standard height for man in terms of ergonomics in design. So that'll give you the best eye level view. Hope this helps...cheers!
