Scott I just want to say thank you!...... For as long as I'd like to remember I've dealt with terrible anxiety and depression and on the journey to self recovery I've had much doubt in weather I'll actually be "normal" or be my self again as at times I felt this long spell of anxiety had changed me forever. And well it has! And I god damn welcome the change! This has been a war mainly faught on the battlefields of my own fortitude and once I realised I was my own worse enemy I began to heal. However such an arsenal would be empty without you're advice and guidance......... I am in no way 100% my self again BUT I'm 100% better than the start of the turmoil that kick started this conflict. Scott I genuinely and with monumental gratitude thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

The three points I got are 1. Not relating with People and being alone/lonely 2. Not connecting with nature. 3. excessive use of social media/being on your screens. Thanks Scott

I can go to a park full of people and not be anxious, but put me in Wal-Mart at a busy time, and I'll almost always have a panic attack.

I can't stand to be in Walmart longer than 10-15 minutes before I break out into a sweat, heart racing and this feeling of impending doom comes over me. I have to leave and get out the door asap in order to breathe. It's downright awful; and I have left the cart many times because of it. I just avoid Walmart now. It's not worth putting myself through that just to save a buck.

Very few friends 2 I guess I'm currently working on moving abroad... ALONE, after battling with depression since 2005... I'm SO scared of how can I manage all that by myself. Finding a job, apartment, living all alone in a completely different country. Talk to me me about anxiety... oh... it's so hard but I have to do it... as I can't continue my life where I'm... it's the most difficult decision I made... I don't even know I'll succeed but I know I'll try. Great video as always 🤗

In the path of our lives people will come and go, a few will stay and you’ll find friends that become family. Wish you the best of luck and always stay grateful for what you have and hopeful for what’s coming.

I definitely agree with these. Social media is something I definitely need to cut down on but thankfully I now live near a country park that I take my dog to daily. The connection one though is very important. I have a long term boyfriend that I'm really grateful for but a lot of people I was friends with have graduated from uni and moved back to their homes far away from me. And I haven't built much more than fair weather friendships with the people closer to me location-wise so far. Definitely feeling a bit more lonely and a bit more anxious

I’ve been "trapped" for some months now, job-home-screen time and all over again. Jiz, to be honest, one can get to the point that it gets very hard to break with that. Now that I think about, last time I went to the beach was probably 3 months ago (and I live one block away from the beach).

That was beautiful. Using MIndfulness @ Meditaion has been a huge help over the last 7 painful years. I know what is causing my anxiety. I am having to spend most of my trying to sale most of my items so i can survive. Disability barely pays the rent. I don't even remember the last time i got to spend 10 minutes with anyone. Your explanation might explain why i am waking up every couple of hours and my sleep problem has gotten worse. Google Plus was my support system for over 10 years, but it ended six months ago. So i ended up on Facebook and it just isn't the same. Am searching for an app to where i can actually meet people in person. Was not like this growing up and when i was able to work. Thankfully i do have a meditation garden i can go to . I know that technology has gotten usmore isolated and more stressed out. I woiuld gladly go back to before the machines took over. I did send you a message on Facebook about Thanksgiving. Holidays have been taken away. At least i have the memories. Being that i am medically dying, i will be going home soon

It is sometimes difficult even to understand that the bonds and relations are trully yours. I have been always very lonely ( maybe because I was almost a lone child, my brothers are elder 12 and 13 years ). I am just in the moment where I am isolating and taking distance, firs,t because of some depression but also to realize that my friends are my boyfriends friends. They became mine (they are awsome,I like them very much and we have had grat moments ), but now that I am also in a changing of values and priorities I have realized that I TRULLY WANT to be more sociable, I TRULLy want to find my pack, maybe it will be difficult but to move on in life I need my circle. So this 3 issues tthat you talked about are really important. Personally I have no problem with the other two and I apply them

Wow, I have never heard that about sleep and loneliness. Since I was little I have struggled with insomnia and I am an extremely light sleeper as well as having long periods of not having any friends. I wonder if the two are connected in my case? I have usually just thought it was general anxiety but that would make so much sense...
