Wonderful concise video detailing all the phases of construction of a rusticated brick arch. The commentary throughout was most informative, especially that associated with the timber form work and its setting out in relation to the hand cut splayed voussoir bricks. You spent your time at College very wisely did you not? You must have had excellent course tutors, and paid attention to them, and learnt the lessons? It shows Rob. I had the excellent Mike Algar as my college lecturer where I learnt the basics of my maths and geometry and principles of detailed work, then Derek Almond on site to learn most of my craftsmanship and technique. I am so grateful to both of them.

TTB just posted a video were he did a jack arch were he cut the bricks himself wich is nice I haven't done one in ten years but it's nothing compared to this Rob is definitely in a league of his own when it comes to detail work

@@robsonger1 that’s good to hear . There’s a power tool repair technician on KZbin called dean Doherty from Donegal in Ireland, he repairs a lot of different brands . Well worth watching you’ll get great insight in to the different tool brands . How reliable different brands are and more importantly how available are the parts for them when they do go on the blink .he has a video up of him assessing a Dewalt dcs690 54 volt saw for repair its interesting viewing.
