Just the introductory paragraph of this video, shows intelligence, a mastery of the subject and tier 1 communication clarity. Well done. This is a rare skill in a world dense with instruction videos.

Nicole, you should be recognized for how well scripted your videos are. In addition, you do a great job of looking at the game and reducing it to strategies and technique checkpoints that are useful to the mass of players. Up to a very high level you don't need elite hand eye coordination or elite movement skills. If you just hit the shots you can hit, with sound mechanics, you'll win more than your share.

Super appreciate you saying at. Yes, mastering fundamentals is where the wins are at.

This is a very informative video for the recreational player. You did a great job explaining what you do to make fewer mistakes. I truly need to slow down!

Nic, you are so excellent at explaining things in an accessible way. Improving consistency of basics may not seem sexy--but it does seem to matter most for us rec players who are never going to be pros.

Wow. Thanks. "Simple" is best. Strike the ball in front consistently. Bend knees to maintain the optimal strike zone when the ball comes lower.

I'm right at this point! I need to drill the basics so that I make fewer mistakes. I just have a hard time finding others who want to drill, and not just play. :/

Hey Nicole, Being a long time fan of prime Time, this is a Great Video. Stick to Perfecting the Basics and you will be a good player, In our community we don’t have any instructors, so have started Beginner and Skills Development Classes, I have had almost 80 participants of which half are new beginners. I send your videos to anyone taking my classes and this one yesterday. I like to think l’m a student of the Game and appreciate your videos to improve our game. Bill

Your videos are the best - you really break down the mechanics of a shot so well by action and by words. Don't change a thing! I'm also trying also to find your video on 3rd shot drop technique and I can't find it. Most of PrimeTime's videos are of Jordan, not you. Can you help me.

I'm somewhat new to PB, but one thing I noticed with the players in this video, that wasn't mentioned, it appeared that they consistently hit the ball at the end of the racket. Does that make sense? Thank you.
@primetimepickleball2 жыл бұрын
They do hit it slightly above center, yes. They get a little more leverage that way. The wear pattern on my paddle is never squarely in the middle. It's always slightly higher.

Nice I could prob rally for days, but instead i go for winners. Why would I do that when its a guarantee that I can keep the point alive and win it with better rallies. Good tip.

Muchas gracias Desde Montevideo Uruguay

Not sure if my comment applies, but I see many PB players reaching for the ball instead of taking an extra half a step... reaching pops the ball up...and you're done...lol.

In classes they always tell you to make your way up to the non-volley line to play, not to play from the back of the court, but all of these players are playing at the back of the court… What’s up with that?

Probably because they are running drills?
