Mark, you’ve become one of my favorite mentors as a therapist. I’d love to meet you someday!

Your videos help so much. I used the consequences one the other day and it opened up a great space and allowed realisations . Thank you so much for your insights and examples. “A diamond cannot see its own value/worth”🙂

How can I help someone if I can't help myself? I may not know the answer to my own problem (yet), but I may know something that can help someone else. Maybe this is a way to justify what we do and maybe it will help us not to limit our creativity by looking only at ourselves. As far as I understand so far, one has nothing to do with the other. It's hard to internalize that. Thank you for your help with this.

Only narrow-minded man with lack of perspective doesnt question himself or self-doubt. We are all prone to making mistakes. If one doubts, it is fine, it is a tell-tale sign that something needs to be done, as long as the doubt doesnt become a dominant self-image. It needs worked-out, however, and resolved ASAP so the suffering resolves. A very useful video for the therapists, spoken from a very human side and unselfishly client-oriented.

Another insightful video. Thank you. I really appreciate it, when you summarise the key points at the end before the spiel on subscribe etc.

How do we know if we’re ready to be a therapist? I just graduated with a masters in social work and I haven’t had much experience in the field. my concentration was mental health and substance abuse. I was just offered a therapist position in a private practice setting with supervision from an MSW. I don’t feel ready but idk if it’s a lack of skills or lack of confidence.

What if your patient observing their own behavior and making their own diagnoses? Then they are right? Wouldn't this sound like someone is unconfident of their career counseling.

Why would you ever compare your problems. Trust me my problems are my own and control over your heart rate and slam everyone in the physical environment with 56 bpm and let's see where their energy comes from (60bpm metronome)
