What a neat game. Never knew this existed. Reminds me of Saturday Night Slam Masters. Crazy how this game had an animation for the Crippler Crossface lol

Yep, but I think it's even better! The sprite work is superb. Plus this game came out a few months before Slam Masters, so it was the first. (April 93 vs July 93)

@@sidgar1 agreed, 3 Count Bout has the better intros, more interesting characters and even some gore to offer, but I think Saturday Night Slam Masters is a little more balanced. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of neither game, I'm rather into classic 2D fighting games.

A tough game in the arcades back in the day. SNK should make a new "3 Count Bout," with a custom character creation system, like the older WWE wrestling games.

I'm always up for some pro wrestling but the baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire indicates that this may be more snuff than kayfabe.

The quarter muncher. No matter how fast you pressed the buttons, the cpu would just say. "no" and reverse you. Then do a high damage move right after in a fraction of the time it would take.

Terry Rogers was probably WCW Lex Luger, and The Red Dragon was “The Great Muta,” who was famous for the “spraying mouth chemicals in the other guy’s eyes” move.

This is kinda weird how Bradley's name is misspelled as "Bradlay", Big Bombarder as "Bomberder", and "Blubber Man" as "Brabber Man" (in the initials). Weird. Anyways, nice vid about wrestling.
