At this point in my life, it is the cold that hurts more..........

I’ve just returned home to Perth, Western Australia after visiting Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania for the first time. Great places to visit and I can’t wait to return ! I enjoy watching your channel.

No other country can beat the cost of living in Cambodia where I have a modern, western-style apartment for $200.USD per month. Meals are between $1.00-$5.00 and beer? How about 50 cents for draft beer? And the US dollar is used so no foreign currency fees. English is understood so no need to learn another language. The downside? It’s HOT and humid most of the year. But as a retirement destination, it’s hard to beat. Very easy retirement visa too. Better than Thailand and the Philippines where I lived for 3 years.

I spent seven weeks exploring the Baltics and loved them. My experience was spectacular. However, it was not the least expensive places to visit but if someone is doing a solo trip for the first time I would highly suggest the Baltics as a good way to start. Great video👍🏻✌🏻🤙🏻🫶🏻

The summers might be nice but the winters would be too cold for me. I grew up in an area that can have cold and or snowy winters I got out not going back.

I use my eSIM strictly with my US carrier. The physical sim slot is kept open for each nation I visit. I just need to make certain I NEVER reset my phone abroad, under any circumstances.

I have to share this video with my wife. I wanted to do MM2H visa in Malaysia. My wife has family in KL, Penang and Taiping. We’ve visited twice now but she can’t get use to the heat in Malaysia. Lol

Glad you enjoyed the video! I totally get it; the heat can be intense in SE Asia!

Is eSIM more expensive everywhere in the world or just Eastern European countries? I have an iPhone 15 which is eSIM only. So I guess I would need to have a back up phone that could do a regular SIM card. Can you do a serrated video on this subject, perhaps? ❤
@edvinasm790220 күн бұрын
The price for eSIM and regular SIM is the same when you buy SIM from local provider. That's in Lithuanian where I live. I think they were suggesting to buy local SIMs instead of buying eSIMS "for overseas".
