Well folks, I don't suggest trying all 3 on the same day! But they were all super good in their own way! Ingredients in the description, but the full method can be found here barrylewis.net/recipe/3-courses-in-a-muffin-tin/ the breakfast one was probably my favourite with the cheeky sausage layer!
@annedemarie74803 жыл бұрын
Ey barry just a tip next time you bake an egg in the oven first bake the white then the last 5 or so minutes add the yolk that way you still got runny eggs it will lay more on top then in the egg white but i personally dont mind that

Me too. Having to cook ingredients separately then not even being able to finish them off in the tin at the same time seems rather cheating to me.

Barry hi mate , I would like to suggest a couple of things as alternates for the Muffin tin baked meals, if you don’t mind. Starting with the breakfast cup try sliced mushrooms or baked beans, both should cook through in the oven no problem. Next sticking with pasta and sauce vibe, but dodging the meatballs, how about sliced hotdog sausages, or make the cups from shredded potato to make a roseti type of dish . Finally since I dislike cooked apples I thought of making individual pineapple upside down puddings served with cream or ice cream, or what about a quick single portion baked Alaska to use up the spare egg whites.

there actually is a very similar recipe in Italy. you cook the spaghetti, put it in the try as is and pour salted beaten eggs and some parmesan cheese. the eggs will completely fill the gaps and create a very stable muffin with spaghetti in it, very tasty 👍🏻

just a tought on the breakfast one, if you cooked the bacy so they were just soft at the middle. that way you could lay them across at the bottom, sausage meat over and then egg. the bacon going out would become cripsy in the oven, and every bite would contain every element

I wonder, if you turn the noodles upside down on a cookie sheet, or cook them over the over turned muffin tin. If that wouldn't brown them up just enough to hold together. I've done it with an upside down muffin tin and mashed potatoes. To make a mash potato bowl. 🤔.
