VERY well done ! I say this with 40+ years in mortgage finance & banking working with credit bureaus. Different models and parameters are used by different industries but *Linux tech corps* info is pretty much universal. If you're trying to max your credit scores, there is a happy medium between too many credit cards and none. Too many cards with zero balnce may actually hurt you in some cases. Even if you do not use them, you have a potential. To always pay cash & still have cards doesn't help your scores as well

A tradeline means that you are a authorized user of someone else's credit card. You don't have to have possession of the card, but their credit history will reflect on your credit report...a parent or family member with EXCELLENT credit can be a "tradeline" I graduated college with 97,000 in debt"...that right there is a Huge problem..schools have become a business that drain students of money and yet, no one is stepping in to help the students who then graduate with massive debt and have difficulty paying it off...Having that much debt can be overwhelming for ANYONE...Especially a young 20 something who hasn't even began their career. I wouldn't go with CreditOne. It has a lot of bad reviews, and bad practices that I've seen people complain about. Instead, get a CapitalOne Platinum Mastercard for rebuilding credit. They give you a $300 initial credit line, and then they automatically raise it to $500 after 5 on time payments, with no annual fees. Ever.

I had an EVICTION, JUDGEMENT and quite a number of other negative items on my report with a low 400's CREDIT SCORE. These prevented me from getting a mortgage until I starting looking for help. I paid off 9 collections, requested deletion letters (No cards just bills). Once things started dropping off, I applied for the Cap One (Secured) then Discover (Secured). Discover graduated me after 7 months and Cap One gave me an increase (They don’t graduate). My utilization across all accounts is 2%, no late payments, no balances, no black marks, no collections. I hope this helps someone.

When I signed up with Jack I had 18 negative items across all 3 credit reports plus a judgement and a bankruptcy. It's been 3 weeks and the judgement and bankruptcy have been removed from all 3 reports. They were also successful in getting all other negatives removed from my Transunion and Experian. I now only have 4 left on Equifax but they're old and paid in full so they really aren't affecting my score anyway. I get such GREAT service every time I go to the VIRTUALCODECRACK🎡net and the IRS is SO wonderful to work with. I DEFINITELY want the Government in charge of my Social Credit Score! This couldn't possibly be misused in ANY way! All the data breaches that the VA has had makes me confident that my data would be TOTALLY safe!

Meanwhile I literally bought my house because the apartment I was living in started at $700 a month. A year goes by and the landlord sends me notice of rent being raised to $800 a month. I did this for another year. I was a star tenant, never broke anything or asked for anything. Another year goes by and again the landlord sent notice of rent raising to $900 a month. I obliged and continue renting. 3rd year I get another notice from the Landlord. The rent went to $1000/ Mo... I was starting to get concerned at this point, but I felt I had no other choice. I lived there another year. 4th year and I get yet another notice. The landlord was raising the rent to $1,100 a month. At this point I was getting frustrated. 4 years and no upgrades to my apartment and they wanted more and more money. I made it one more year. I put one of my kid's as a rider on a couple of my credit cards before he turned 18. I didn't give him the card for obvious reasons, in fact I cut it up. I made sure that cards were paid on time, everytime. By the time he turned 18 he was able to buy a car and get other credit with no cosigner's, etc. It definitely does work.

Good advice. However, if an applicant doesn't have $200 in their bank account, they shouldn't be applying for a credit card, even an unsecured credit card. Even if you have the minimum amount due in your bank account, having only $25 to $50 in checking is dangerously low as we know banks love to ripoff their customers. Credit Unions don't. However, that's besides the point. I'm speaking out of experience. I messed up my credit history since I couldn't pay them off so they went to collections and 1 even went to a lawyer. Scary stuff. This resulted in a score of the 500's and being denied an apartment. How did I get it back up? Department store cards. Department store cards generally report to all 3 credit bureaus. I use my Amazon card alot. I'm in the 700 club now. However my FICO 8 has not reached 700. It's still in tbe 600s. And my unsecured credit card is from NY credit union abd has a very low apr. It's around 10% But my point is that if you don't have the means of paying for something don't get it. Yes you can buy a $5,000 item if you know you can pay it off within 4-6 months. But if you only have $50 in your bank account, you shouldn't buy that $5,000 item. Most of us are smart. We will not buy expensive stuff. However, what we don't realize is tgat its the little stuff that adds up. And next thing we know we owe $800 on our credit card for purchasing very small purchases like $17 for Panda Express 🐼. Thats why even though people may apply for am unsecured card, you should STILL reserve a small amount in your bank account and treat as if it were a secured credit card 💳. That way you don't go down the rabbit hole. Credit is a consumer illusion. We should see credit as an illusion. If we don't have a payment plan to purchase items, we shouldn't be purchasing items with credit. It's still possible to go down the rabbit hole of you keep on purchasing lots of gas and groceries. You maybe using cards responsibly. However, if you go to Safeway once a week, maybe try using different cards or better yet, a regular debit card. If you have $500 limit and reach that limit simply by purchasing groceries, your credit utilization will go up the wazoo. And even worse, maybe you only pay half the bill and this becomes an endless cycle where your card always has a balance, not necessarily because of irresponsibility and buying lavish stuff but because of not being frugal with paying essential items you actually need. So tgars why even if yiu are applying for an unsecured card, treat it like a secured card. Do you want a $2000 unsecured credit card? Well, maybe yiu should apply and then open up a $1500 CD account with your bank. Now if you're making above 50k a year, then you may not need to do this. But for people in the 20 to 35k, I strongly recommend this.. Is this what I do? No, I haven't worked full time for quite awhile. But it's a their I've developed.

I had 17 inquiries I would like removed, 3 are from leasing companies for apartments I did not get, and 9 others are from 4 credit card companies that pulled my information twice each that I applied to months ago but just now showed up, I didn't get either card, My credit went from a 747 to a 611 in a matter of a week. Credit karma shows I have a collections, Experian shows i have no collections account, Credit karma shows 4 hard inquiries, Experian shows 12 hard inquiries.... I'm in California, I bought a vehicle, but in my shopping I had 12 hard inquiries done in a one month period, I have heard (and I can't remember where) that in Ca. if you BUY a vehicle within 30 days of the first inquiry that any inquiries within that 30 day period would be combined into ONE inquiry. But this has not been changed on my reports which is giving me headache along side collections, charge offs & tax liens but few weeks ago I read about Andy Hacks from an article created from 2019 by a UK blogger. They didn't only delete all negative items that's giving me headache, they also raise by score by 265pts in under 3 weeks using them Andyhackscreditfix🪐Org

My house and vehicles are paid off, I have one Visa card for all purchases, which gives me air miles, and I pay it off monthly, but my score bounces between 800 and 820 without changing any of my patterns, so it’s manipulated for some reason. *Credit backdoors* made it stay at that range and getting it up

You forgot to mention that with a $200.00 credit limit you should charge no more than $10.00 or your score will decline if you carry more than 5% useage.

Unfortunately due to previous horrible stupid life decisions, I'm forced to start with a zero balance in my savings account. Due to long term medical illness in my family our credit suffered lots. I don't consider renting passive income unless you have professional property management. Most people who rent don't count their time and effort needed just to make a tiny return on their massive investment. For example, you invest $599,000 to buy a second home and rent it out for $3000 a month. Let assume you are cash flow positive on the property and you make $1000 a month or $12,000 a year. What would your annualized return be? 2 percent on the entire amount. Now, you can argue that your return is much higher since you only put down $120,000 on the property. However, you are on the hook for the full $600k regardless of what the future FMV of the house is. Furthermore, people assume that their home will always appreciate in value however, this is a false assumption you can make. In the best case, you will gain some capital appreciation thanks to the central bank increasing the money supply, however, if inflation heats up, you can see your property actually start to lose money in real terms. This is because there is an inverse relationship between housing and nominal interest rates. The central bank will attempt to slow down inflation with higher interest rates and curb lending.
