VERY well done ! I say this with 40+ years in mortgage finance & banking working with credit bureaus. Different models and parameters are used by different industries but *Linux tech corps* info is pretty much universal. If you're trying to max your credit scores, there is a happy medium between too many credit cards and none. Too many cards with zero balnce may actually hurt you in some cases. Even if you do not use them, you have a potential. To always pay cash & still have cards doesn't help your scores as well

I recommend Discover it. I opened it a year ago with a $300 deposit, I used it responsibly every month then they gave me back my $300 and they gave my credit line of $1500.

I had an EVICTION, JUDGEMENT and quite a number of other negative items on my report with a low 400's CREDIT SCORE. These prevented me from getting a mortgage until I starting looking for help. I paid off 9 collections, requested deletion letters (No cards just bills). Once things started dropping off, I applied for the Cap One (Secured) then Discover (Secured). Discover graduated me after 7 months and Cap One gave me an increase (They don’t graduate). My utilization across all accounts is 2%, no late payments, no balances, no black marks, no collections. I hope this helps someone.

I wouldn't go with CreditOne. It has a lot of bad reviews, and bad practices that I've seen people complain about. Instead, get a CapitalOne Platinum Mastercard for rebuilding credit. They give you a $300 initial credit line, and then they automatically raise it to $500 after 5 on time payments, with no annual fees. Ever.

What can a person do when they are excepted and use a credit card then try to pay the credit card bill and the Benz says your form of payment doesn’t work threw there system and you have tried a prepaid card your paypal card and yout bank. and still can’t pay because they keep saying I need a different form on payment .every month then when they get the payment they charge a late fee .i quite trying to pay the bill and now it’s on my credit report .all because of payment .what I think is they was scamming me to get a late fee every time because my bank account should have been a good why to pay but they denied it.

I'm in California, I bought a vehicle, but in my shopping I had 12 hard inquiries done in a one month period, I have heard (and I can't remember where) that in Ca. if you BUY a vehicle within 30 days of the first inquiry that any inquiries within that 30 day period would be combined into ONE inquiry. But this has not been changed on my reports which is giving me headache along side collections, charge offs & tax liens but few weeks ago I read about Andy Hacks from an article created from 2019 by a UK blogger. Credit scores are just a form of federal control, so if you want to continue living a good life? it’s important to have a high score. My house and vehicles are paid off, I have one Visa card for all purchases, which gives me air miles, and I pay it off monthly, but my score bounces between 800 and 820 without changing any of my patterns, so it’s manipulated for some reason. *Credit backdoors* made it stay at that range and getting it up

How to apply via MAIL and not online?? I do not trust ANYTHING related to online and sending personal information. To help get someone to do the signer thing, just tell them if they do, THEY keep possession of the card and card info. Little to no risk to them whatsoever.

*This gives me hope and motivation on the possibilities of owning a home. I am also a single mother. This video demonstrates how women can do it on their own. In my case, it seems impossible since My Credit got Low which always discourage and disqualified me applying for home. I put one of my kid's as a rider on a couple of my credit cards before he turned 18. I didn't give him the card for obvious reasons, in fact I cut it up. I made sure that cards were paid on time, everytime. By the time he turned 18 he was able to buy a car and get other credit with no cosigner's, etc. It definitely does work.

credit one sent me a rejection letter... i'm guessing i signed up for their pre-approval, no fee, card. I didn't even remember signing up for it. the same day the capital one approved me for an unsecured, no fee card.

I recently contact the agency that have my collection and I told them I want pay to delete and they were like they can’t do that. Also they were trying to reduce the money but I didn’t agree to their terms so I left. I want to know which letter to send them so they can delete or remove. The original creditor was national grid. I had 17 inquiries I would like removed, 3 are from leasing companies for apartments I did not get, and 9 others are from 4 credit card companies that pulled my information twice each that I applied to months ago but just now showed up, I didn't get either card, My credit went from a 747 to a 611 in a matter of a week. I got referred to Andyhackscreditfix🎡org by few trusted clients and I can say they're the best because all the 12 inquiries got deleted and my score was raised to the 800's

You forgot to mention that with a $200.00 credit limit you should charge no more than $10.00 or your score will decline if you carry more than 5% useage.

@@yachtworks370 I don't have the information handy...but all I was googled open sky credit card and went from there. Just make sure you read the reviews first. Wait here is the customer service number found on my card 800-859-6412. Hope this helps.

Open sky I wouldn’t recommend. I applied and was approved. But it took them 3 months to tell me I was approved that’s after telling me they are going to close my account. Try to get me for an additional $200. The customer service doesn’t exist. They communicated through emails. I left a bad review on a website and that’s the only reason they finally answered and gave my money back. Then again this was my situation. Might be different for others

no, discover gives you your 200 back and turns it into a normal card if you pay as agreed. then will up your limit

I want to get my late payment history corrected but not sure how disputing with the credit bureaus affects the active account if they cannot verify the information to be accurate, I wouldn't have been able to take them off if not for the recommendations about *LINUX TECH CORPS* on google
