Dark roast has its pros as well. Roasting above 400F destabilizes acrylamide, a carcinogen. Dark roast also has the lowest acidity, making it the best option for those who like their teeth.

...and the effects on sleep were? 150mg per cup x 3 a day is a lot of caffeine disturbance on sleep

Also makes you hard to sleep Trust me, I used to drink coffee as a pre workout for the evening workout, really a bad idea
