Im a SF for my team and Im a pretty good shooter and slasher, but my friends, coaches and even my parents have convinced me if I'm going to want to make it into college basketball I have to get better handles and I got to learn how to make more space for myself, which i can sometimes do fine but im still pretty inconsistent, I've tried your guys workout here and its been working well for me not going to lie, I've learned a bit more and I appreciate the video

Hey coach, I've been suffering with jumpers knee for about half a year and I haven't been able to play basketball in a long long time. Could you make a video on some exercises, stretches or in general tips to help me and everyone else who suffers from it, get over it?
@an7d7y5 жыл бұрын
Do toe lifts. This will strengthens our feet muscles. Get a heavy band and anchor it knee height . Wrap it around your knee move back so it’s tight . Then let your knee move forward slowly until you foot is on the ball of your foot then pull your knee back. Also do pistol squats. Slow down till your butt hits the bench or chair repeat

I have the same thing and I still ball?
@dimitrisantoniadis46305 жыл бұрын
@@darius_productions03 well you probably don't have it as bad as me. I had minor pain then played soccer once with my friends and totally destroyed my knees, also I continued training later on and the problem got even worse. I've rested a lot, stretched a lot and I do some exercises but I still can't jump or run without pain, so I need extra help.

I show my girls varsity basketball players how to stay bouncy, knees bent, play loose ready to move, almost like you're dancing to the rhythm and they laugh when they do it. Then they play basketball in a real game, play stiff as a board from never practicing, and they turn the ball over 30+ times per game because they have no clue how to bounce and be an athlete. Girls from other teams bounce around and steal everything.
