Watch your channel all time this is the first time I missed this. I’ve never seen this one and I am you bro when I was young I’m not that old but when I was young, I used to do trips like this all the time by myself and Canada go up north whatever backpacking in or drift boat or belly boat true stuff, always had fun when the rest of my friends were cooked in the drugs and I was doing this to help my friends turn their lives around with fishing away for four days and then realize a lot more. I’m terminally ill now. I wish I could still do it, but I can’t so it’s kind of nice watching your shows brings back. Good memories.

When I was a kid in the 1970s 3 foot long Steelhead were common in the Feather River in Northern California...they just completed Oroville dam in 1968 and for 10 years thousands of Steelhead would be below the dam stacked up in the Low flow by the Feather River Fish Hatchery. Now 50 years later we only see the BIG ones over 20 lbs during El Nino cycles! I remember getting spooled almost everytime I went fishing from 1972-1978

Wow! What a tank! Beautiful male! Love the darkness to it. Definitely a hold over fish. We have a few nice rivers they spend the winter in. Hard to get to with all the snow rivers usually froze. Love your vids brother. Good stuff.

You know the secret to catching alot of nice fish…. Letting them go after the catch!!! the respect in the sport will pay off a lot of course keep a few good ones when you need them but letting those nice females and big bucks go always pays off on the end!!
