Lol. I worked out on a cattle station just before wet season in FNQ. Flies! One learns to breath through their teeth quickly, and be careful while talking (something you can't do); big breaths were never a good thing, and I've eaten or spat up too many flies to remember. In my mouth, nose, ears and eyes all day long trying to suck up a bit of moisture. I don't remember being bothered by them at dawn and dusk. I think your WA flies maybe nastier, rip.
