Tip for cooking campfire bacon : Put like 1/8"-1/4" water in a cold pan layered with bacon, you can mound it up. The water cooks off and steams the bacon to cook it fast, once the water is gone they get color fast. You won't burn it that way. I easily cook 60lbs of bacon a week, I'm banquet chef at a resort.
