From a guy that is, originally, from Forks, I'll commend you on a great video. Most places that you went, I've been to. Hurricane Ridge is awesome! Lake Crescent, well, I've swam in it once, and never again. So cold! I would say, I agree, never go up the Hoh Rainforest road, this time of year. Go up the Queets or Quinault, which I seen you swimming in Lake Quinault. So, you were part way there. Anyway, two thumbs up! I, thoroughly, enjoyed your video.

Another great video! As someone who lives in Switzerland, I find it so interesting to see how the mountains/nature in Canada/US look so similar yet so different compared to here! Always look forward to your videos!

Yeah, they're very different! The Swiss Alps are definitely more striking, but also far more developed.

Absolutely love Olympic National Park, that whole peninsula is just amazing. Just a beautiful place. Spent a LOT of time there over the years. There's a crazy good pizza place in Port Angeles, called The Strait Slice Pizza Co. that me and Ms. Toboggan had. Used to be a little hole in the wall, but now it looks like it's moved to a much bigger and nicer place on East 1st Street. We were gobsmacked, and to this day we both reckon it was the best pizza we've ever had.

I loved hiking Storm King Trail for the challenging steepness and rewarding views at the top. And the campground you stayed at on Crescent Lake, is nice place to tent camp. Brave to swim that cold water! I kayaked instead. Great video.
@riseandalpine5 ай бұрын
Glad you experienced the area as well! Super gorgeous view on storm king. Would totally hike it early like 6am if I ever go back to try and get the summit to ourselves :). The water in crescent is amazingly clear and I was shocked at how warm it was. It was formed by glaciers but I'm not sure how much glacial melt it was getting because it was actually a somewhat tolerable dip!

Love this part of our state! I laughed pretty hard at your pronunciation of Shi Shi beach…it’s not “shee shee”it’s “shy shy” 🤭 Also, Rialto beach and Hole in the Wall are incredible on a low tide sunny day! Wish you would have had better weather for that part, and the tide had been out. The tide pools have so much color it almost looks like you’re in a tropical place!

My pronunciation is always so bad 😂😂. Loved the area. Will definitely be back to check out Rialto on a sunny day.

Man when you mentioned the line i thought it would be for the ferry or border. That's wild for just a walk in the forest. If you want to see moss, I'd say the bottom of the hydraulic creek trail in lynn valley/seymour is much easier to get to. And like, a million other places around as well. We are in a rainforest, after all

Summer camping adventures are back! I can't get over the amount of driftwood on those beaches. Is that from trees near the beach that have fallen into the water due to erosion or has it come out from a river?

Hey fireworks are better than a garbage fire. Once I was at a beach out by San Gregoro CA a bit secluded from the road. A family showed up with their kids and they had these sleds with garbage bags in them. The kids went to play in the water, and the adults set fire to the garbage. Then they just left with the burning pile of garbage in the middle of the beach.
@riseandalpine5 ай бұрын
Well that is properly insane.... I guess garbage is getting burnt anyways but that sure would ruin the beach chills hahaha

I just had a great idea. And I wanted to tell you. Can you invite insaneshayne to your video? I think it’s a great match. I bet he loves your ski content too. I think he would make a guest appearance on your video. Ask him strategically. I think he’s a great match to your channel and his viewers would love your content too. (Put the sauce on the marshmallow. Throw it super far from a whistler cliff and have him catch it at the bottom. I think it can work! And you show him around the mountain and make him do crazy ski stunts if he can.)
@riseandalpine5 ай бұрын
Dude that would be hilarious! I've seen so many of his videos... His stunts are ridiculous. I wonder if he can ski?
@choisam205 ай бұрын
@@riseandalpine I just found out about him like 2 weeks ago! Yeah, I don’t know if he skies. Invite him to BC and teach him ski and show him around. I can see it. It’s a win win for you and him. You have a higher comments ratio for sub counts. You have a very royale fan base. You do have the leverage when you ask him for a collab/hire. You do have the almost strong leverage as Nikolai shcimer when/if you sit on the negotiation with him (shane), I believe. I don’t really watch stradman’s channel anymore but I watch all your videos!! That’s how much I’m hooked on your channel. Your videos/channel is powerful.
