Absolutely! This was filmed this past December. Medellín is nicknamed the city of Eternal Spring for a reason! Also Cartagena was in the mid-90s fahrenheit in December.

You are not. missing anything in Bazurto. I went and it's a smelly market with not much to see. I have no idea why it's so popular. Food was not good either. Total waste of time

that makes me feel better! I was so bummed about not going. I wonder if it's popular because Cartagena has become so touristy and maybe that's just one of the few local/authentic things to do? Just a guess but it's definitely interesting.

@@BereniceAchille I think Anthony Bourdain went and that is the reason it got popular. Honestly it was not great. The whole market smelled horrible, it was dirty, dingy and just bad. Our tour guide took us but I would never ever go there again.

I’m sure you would’ve enjoyed the dichotomy of the market in contrast to the “tourist” spots Cartagena has to offer. If you wanted to avoid a spot because it’s “dirty” and “smelly” then just stay in gentrified-tourist haven spots.
