I admire family’s who put their pride aside knowing they will be subject to internet scrutiny yet they take this opportunity for the sake of THE DOGS. I might not like how they parent their pets but I can absolutely respect them putting their pet before their pride and letting this be filmed in their home to help others in their shoes.

It's always, exactly, this. Put your pride aside and get help, whether it's dogs or children or addiction or obsessions, etc.. With dogs it's obvious that they too need to be happy. With our other problems you're going to have to accept the fact that you too deserve to be happy. No matter how big or small the issue, people sometimes get stuck, and that is perfectly o.k.. Just honor yourselves and get unstuck.

They put the little dogs in a dangerous position. Little dogs and big dogs are a bad combo because the little dogs get trampled let alone one gets attacked. I know they think it’s cute when they get along, and it is, but it’s definitely not optimal. Why is this shit so common?

There is no one as good as you are with what you are doing with those aggressive dogs. Congratulations and I’m always thrilled to watch your videos. Very few people would try the things you do but thank God you are able to do it because that’s exactly what the dogs need. Thank you❤

The Guide elaborates on the techniques used on the show. The examples given in the kzbin.infoUgkxECnmSvBSv_NGWx4_ChD73pF3NYZwI2F3 are helpful and some of the techniques suggested very useful. One such technique/tool suggested was the lure stick to encourage a small dog to keep up with the heel command. I have a small dog who lags behind smelling any and everything and find it hard to keep bending over while walking to his level. The lure stick is great also for another dogs focus and sprinting at anything that catches her eye. The stories about different dogs, their different temperaments, have been helpful, especially Lulu's: After reading about Lulu's challenges I felt relief concerning one of my rescues that I have had for 10 years. Over many years I have checked out many training books from the library, watched different shows, DVDS, bought training books, taken lessons and this book is the best by far! Kindness, patience and perseverance works.

Absolutely correct. It is always the humans that are at fault for a dog's "bad" behavior. Most people shouldn't have dogs. Or kids, for that matter, but that's another subject. But good for these people, seeking help. Good for them! Now, if only everyone were so smart, the shelters would not be killing millions of dogs a year. That is truly shameful. People buying large and/or aggressive dogs when they lack the knowledge to train, handle and live with them should be a crime, as it is the dog who ends up suffering because of the person's egos. Go to a shelter and see how many pits and pit crosses are there.........makes me cry every time I see that, but, I go to shelters to help friends when they get a dog. They are all the same, full of dogs waiting to be put down, dogs that would have been great in the right hands.

@famouskate9071 boy oh boy... couldn't agree with you more. Wish everyone thought like you. We owe them. Without the horse and the dog, we would not been able to settle this country. We owe them so much. They're still helping us with police work, seeing eye dogs, cadaver dogs, protection, any service dogs, companion dogs. The list is endless. Dogs if raised correctly will give their lives up for their families. They're very intuitive. Some have been known to save their owners from cancer. In the right hands, dogs love us, and yes, they do feel love, anger, grief, ect. For example, pits have a bad rap but it's us that make them that way. Search for Weela the pit bull that saved people, horses and other dogs in a flood. The military once had a pit bull that saved many American soldiers. The RCA dog was a pit. The Little Rascals... one of the stars/actors was a pit. There are so many true stories about these heros. The military may use pitbulls again. There are endless stories about these beautiful creatures but they don't make a big deal out of these heros. You only hear about the ones that went wrong because of abuse, or stupid owners. I can go on and on but I'll stop now. Yo people, do the research, get the professional training, and as Cesar Milon says... exercise, discipline, then affection. Love all of God's creatures.

I am in awe of Dog Daddy and his technique with the dogs and the family. I admire this family, they didn’t want to give up because obviously love their dogs, they have tried traditional training, they lived with the dogs separated, they have had to limit family/guests in their home and probably social activities because they need to be at home monitoring their dogs. I hope they continue doing what they learned from Dog Daddy. Also, I love that Dog Daddy travels with his pack of superbly trained and beautiful dogs so they are not left at home.

Me too. At the mo I have a boerboel, a cane corso and an xl bully. I believe mastiffs and bull breeds - when bred and raised right - will go to the ends of the Earth to please you, but if you do them wrong they have long memories. They won't savage you but you'll NEVER get the level of partnership that you could have had. I would never have any other type of dog. But I detest other dog owners who think it's ok to let their spiteful little rats chew on mine, but the slightest reaction from mine they start screaming about dangerous dogs.

He takes risks and is a body language and behavior analyst than anything I've seen from many other trainers. Including Cesar and other's. While they are good in my experience this guy is a guru and is widely respected as an expert. Dog handling means to be in control of the dog with a focus of re-directing at the proper moment. That was poignantly demonstrated here so before you start yelling Abuse, figure out that your limited knowledge and experience is far less than what was shown here and Consider wisely before running off at the emotional side of your opinion(s).

Some people should not get certain breeds. The dog changed at a year (not really there were subtle signs beforehand these owners didn't see or address.) The dog realized they weren't the boss, he felt he had to take over to feel safe in every situation since they were not confident owners. So glad you are able to help people or this would turn into a huge liability and sad situation for the dog.

I agree with everything you've said except I never see him educating the owners. Which, in a case like this will almost 100% result in the owners carrying on as they were and the dogs returning almost immediately to business as usual. Boerboels are a very dominant, stubborn breed - more so, in my opinion than any other mastiff breed (I've had boerboels, cane corsi and bull mastiffs for over 15 years and bull breeds for many years before) and they need constant reminding they are not pack leader.

@@marka8537 It's just a matter of taste. I see a lot of small dogs and just think "what's the point?" They make a horrible noise - almost constantly, they go looking for fights and then the bigger dog who finally has enough is ALWAYS blamed, they are fussy eaters, they are no protection from someone who genuinely means you harm. Big dogs on the other hand (esp bull breeds and mastiffs) are good with children, quiet, they have enough guarding instinct that you are safe with them around and they are not going to be put off (or damaged) by any amount of kicking. They are also funny, sweet and loving and almost everyone who has met mine who was previously scared of large dogs has fallen for them in minutes.

@@mastiffsal8185 it’s the great social divide. Those who would bring blood sport dogs into a neighborhood with docile pets and children and those who know better. Something is amiss with your ability to rationalize. It’s very simple - the dog breeds that kill and maim the most children are definitely not a good idea around children. Also, I would never put my dog in harms way having him protect anyone or anything. It’s my job to protect him and my family. I’d never leave such an important responsibility to a stupid dog. My last dog was a rottweiler mix. He was trained to leave the room if even a voice was raised. My dog now, chi/rat terrier doesn’t bark much, doesn’t start fight and is the easiest to train of all the dogs I’ve worked with Here’s a link with some reality for anyone reading this other than you as we know you’ll deny, deflect & defend the shitbulls as all pit addicts do blog.dogsbite.org/2022/05/pit-bulls-lead-bite-counts-across-us.html

Another successful as always complete reformation of dogs and owners. The owners can now be at ease, which helps immensely since animals can sense our fears, doubts and insecurities 🤕empowering the owners is as important. Great job Dog daddy!!

I am a CKC registered Dane breeder and owner and have never had a pup show aggression until recently. These dogs are known for being gentle giants, loved as “Scooby-Doo “ and “Marmaduke” but people forget they are massive animals, notorious leaners who simply knock down people with affection, block hallways and doorways in demand for a vigorous belly rub, have a thin short coat where here in Canada means they are indoor dogs. They have very large litters and these dogs require constant, vigilant training and handling from a very young age. They are very expensive as we ultrasound each for heart deformities and hip dysplasia. They are known by vets as “the heart breaker breed” as heart failure is common. Their average lifespan is 6-8 years and most have food allergies to corn and chicken. Just try and find food or treats without these foods although now there are many more dog foods out there with alternate diets. A young Dane will consume a 50 lb bag of dog food every 10 to 12 days. We recently lost a beautiful tiger tail brindle I had loaned out as a therapy dog in a local hospital. The handler would provide treats for the patients to give him and he died tragically from anaphylaxis due to the corn and chicken treats. The handler forgot his Epipen, and the hospital would not provide one. He died scared and in pain as he suffocated from the swelling in his throat. If these dogs show aggression, it is fear based and with patient, consistent training is easily overcome. My point here is that these beautiful animals are high maintenance animals and if you do not have the time, energy and funds to maintain them, do not have one. I believe the young female in this video is also unaltered and is likely showing bitch aggression to the female Yorkie. God bless Dog Daddy for his gift with these animals and sharing it on this platform to educate!

im canadian and in the future i would love a well bred great dane, but im scared of all the health issues. would you say that good breeding can mean the difference between a dane dying an early death and having many health issues or do you think it's almost inevitable? i don't wanna lose a dog way sooner than i should have, but i really want a bigger dog in a few yrs
