3 days trip TET Sweden & meeting a new friend

3 days trip follow TET roads south of Torsby to South of Östersund.
I was meeting a really nice Italian guy and we ride together for one and a half day.
He was riding from France to North Cape and after Finland and home..

I'd wish I have the same boring swedish gravel roads near home. I muat ride 800km on tarmac for hitting 100km of gravel. 😢

Yes I know for many people it's a long way to find gravel roads so even if it's little boring gravel road I'm so happy I only have 50 km riding to hitting many hours of gravel 😊😊 and the thing is.. It's not boring gravel road only that I have been riding same road many times 😂😊

@@OneAdventureMore One little piece of advice, not sure if you are using a gopro, but get one of those foam case to reduce wind noise. It's pretty annoying sometimes. 🙏😉

Great video, I really enjoyed watching it. Just bought myself a Cf Moto 800 Mt and will try the Swedish TET. I am Swedish so it’s my backyard so to say. Which part of TET is it? What tires do you use? Any good?

It's from north of Torsby to Sveg this video but I love the TET from Karlstad to North of Torsby and there's a lot more gravel road in Värmland and Finnskogen 😊 I ride on Motoz tractionator rallz back & Dualventure from tires, yes I'm so happy with the tires have ride on them for 2 season and will continue with those 😊

@@OneAdventureMore thanks for a detailed answer. My tires are Maxxis and they are, I think, 70/30 tarmac so not so great on gravel roads. I will try the tet this summer and Värmland is a great place with alot of gravel roads. And please, upload some more videos from the tet. Cheers mate!

Hi, i have the same bike and the 690 too. Do you think for doing tet sweden the 850gsA is too heavy and is better the 690? I will do alone.. for example for doing portugal tet the 690 is a great bike, the 850 is too heavy.. what would you recomended me? Do you think should be possible doing tet sweden in8 days? Hi, I will try to answer so good I can, I'm not a expert but can have something good to say.. So nice you have also GSA850, it's a nice bike but some restrictions like every bike.. I haven't ride all TET Sweden but have seen some sections and I have plan to ride a lot of TET Sweden.. I think you can do TET Sweden With the bike it's almost gravel road only some in singel track but you can drive around many places if it's get to heavy or tricky with the bike and if you need some help there's always other TET rider coming quite a lot if you keep on the TET route and need help, maybe have some extra food.. I'm thinking also you can do it for 8 days and it can be nice with 850 then you can cruise highway home if you don't have time like with the 690..but with 690 you can have really fun on some parts of TET but then highway or tarmac don't will be so nice..but 8 days will be stress if you want to see other things or just have a free day.. Where are you living Portugal? And in the end it's about how you are as rider also.. Hope I helped you with some questions..

@@OneAdventureMore thank you very much. I think i can do with 850. All the videos i have seen the road is not very dificult… i am from north off spain, from basque country. But i speak about tet portugal because i know it is dificult.. in portugal are a lot of mountains but in sweden not so much.. it would be perfect go to malmo, then tet sweden, and finally go to north cup, and then return to home… y i think from my town to malmoe should be maybe 2-3 days riding.. so all the travel should be 3 weeks riding… i will think about it. thank you for your answer

@@edg9374 yes that's so true it's almost only fine gravel road in Sweden some small section with forest and almost no mountain as in Portugal.. I think the 850 will be good many people have take the 1250 with no problem..and the thing the 850 is much more comfort when you ride tarmac.. If you want you can also go to Norway and do some TET there, it's really nice with 850 and more mountains but the gravel road is almost like tarmac in some roads..and the nature are so beautiful in Norway, I think some times the road to North Cape can be more boring and then you have much more fun in the middle of Sweden and Norway and spend some days there..but travel to North Cape it's one in life also and maybe ride little in Finland to..

@@OneAdventureMore where are you from? When i was younger i have been during 2 months in sweden, when i finished my studies, in a town 150km far away from stocolm. Nice place but little bit calm..

@@edg9374 I'm from Sweden but lives now in Norway.. Yes many city's in Sweden are so calm you gona see that when you ride TET..
