David have a look at the Katadyn befree filter aswell, it's getting a lot of great reviews in the outdoor community. The weather makes a huge difference to your enjoyment and safety when your new to soloing in the hills.

Great video - many many thanks. I find KZbin videos like this so much more interesting than regular TV and the production values as good if not better. Watching landscapes and drone footage on a 4K TV shot with a 4K camera really helps.too. Now living in Australia but able to watch this material - my old stomping ground of the Lakes, is phenomenal.

Soo, so, jealous! one on one (and the famous Blue) with an Al organised wonder in the wilderness! you lucky lucky chappy!! as regards to the water filter, i use a Katadyn Befree filter in a Cnoc water container. find it much easier to fill and better flow rate than the sawyer. (i'm in your village, so message me if you want to borrow for a test run!) Just did the Ridgeway, just would like say thank you for your Ridgeway vid, was great recon for my trip!!
