3 DAYS with TUDOR PRO CYCLING & FABIAN CANCELLARA at the worlds most EPIC BIKE RACE: Strade Bianche!

Tudor Pro Cycling invited me to Siena, Italy, to go behind the scenes at Strade Bianche 2023. I spent the weekend with 3-time Strade Bianche winner, Fabian Cancellara, and raced the Gran Fonda Strade Bianche from the front row. Oh, and I was given a Tudor Black Bay Chronograph watch to wear for the entire three days... One of the best cycling weekends ever? I think so.

This video was filmed at Strade Bianche 2023 in Florence and Siena, Italy. A cycling holiday destination that's also famous for one of the world's most iconic and memorable bike races, Strade Bianche. This year's race was won by Tom Pidcock and also included riders like Julian Alaphilippe, Mathieu Van Der Poel, Greg Van Avermaet, Pello Bilbao, Alberto Bettiol, Thibault Pinot, Rui Costa, Tiesj Benoot, Peter Sagan and others. WorldTour and ProTour teams such as EF Education-EasyPost, Alpecin-Deceuninck, BORA - hansgrohe, INEOS Grenadiers, Jumbo-Visma and others raced on the white roads of Tuscany making for an amazing cycling experience.

This may be one of the best episodes you have ever done, Tristan. A great story and a weekend to remember for a lifetime. I have ridden l'Eroica twice over some of those same dusty gravel roads but that Gran Fondo looks like something else. My only experience with an Italian Gran Fondo was the Damiano Cunego GF some years ago and it was terrifying as everyone went full gas (maybe after pro contracts?) from the start! The Tudor Pro Team is looking very stylish, really polished. Super video, and a nice watch to wear for the weekend too.

Tristan, fabulous video! What a treat to get on the “inside” of Tudor Pro Cycling and at such a prestige event! I wouldn’t have doubted you had DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) in your face the week following - you were smiling like a little kid at Christmas during the entire vlog and all of those three days! Awesome! Awesome result on the grand condo! As you said, Michael Valgren won the event. He’s back form his massive race crash from last summer, breaking his pelvis and tearing every ligament in his knee. I just listened to podcast that interviewed him after the grand fondo, and he was pretty excited to win that event, his first race back. He said his average power was 330 watts, normalized 390 watts! Ooooff!! Lastly, I must say you have THEE best vlog on KZbin. Hands down! The quality of your imagery and styling of your videos is by far the best. I’ve watched every one of your videos from when you started to date and smashed them all with a big “like”! The best!Best wishes and continued success, both on the bike and off of it! Nice! Great to see Fabian giving back to the sport and elevating Swiss cycling! Tip: Try to make the product placement a bit more natural. You could just say "It is now x o'clock and..." when showing the watch on your wrist. This comes across as too on purpose and thus unnatural. They call it a Gran Fondo, but it is just another race. 🙂
