Hi, Your videos and projects are amazing! I'm about to make my first epoxy counter top project and I was wondering can I use any type of spray paint for adding color or do I need special type of paint? a lot of people on the internet are suggesting to avoid spray paint in epoxy, but I see that you are using it all the time.

What does the denatured alchohol ( ethyl) do for the epoxy ?

The first thing we spray is 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol. This creates cells in the design and disperses the epoxy. Once that evaporates, we spray denatured alcohol to pop any micro bubbles that might be in the epoxy from mixing. This allows us to avoid torching the epoxy and the risks associated with that.

@Leggari Products best epoxy EVER but I messed up. Had to check my son out of school, the flu 😭, after mixing the main container in the sample kit. Tried using it when I got back but the working time was just about up. I have craters. Used other brands to try and fix but the effects don’t show like Leggari’s and definitely not as durable. I can still make a dent in the other stuff. Like an idiot, I used an old wooden dinner tray so I’d like to salvage this and practice so I can do my kitchen. Can I just scuff and apply another kit? HELP! Pls & TY!
