Yes, I have. The only solution for me was to regrow out fresh new curls. I was forced to cut off all my relaxed ends over time.

You might want to experiment with different styling products. They might be drying-out your hair shaft too much and the diffuser is just adding more frizz. Try diffusing on low heat and try not to touch your hair before it dries :)

hemmings for penguin, we have very similar hair types! I have similar hair to Setty's but a lot puffier! Some advice, NEVER comb your hair while wet. I know that it's not good to do that. But for girls w/ curly hair, that is a myth. Our hair doesn't frizz up when combing while wet and it breaks off when we comb dry. Also, before going to sleep, put your hair in a "pineapple". Just put your hair in a ponytail right on top of your head. It's the perfect way to sleep w/ crazy curls so then they don't frizz up while your asleep. Just make sure you put a curl-friendly product in first. Hope this helped!

My roots are just my natural hair. Try method #3 and twist tightly at the root. When your hair dries, it should create a nice defined curl. :)

Possibly, but it is very rare. When you straighten your hair, it becomes damaged by the heat. Try deep conditioning your hair AT LEAST once a week and use ZERO heat for multiple months. You may just have to deal with the loose curls until your natural hair regrows. I went through the same thing :( Good luck xo

Dealing with layers is tough because it just creates more volume. The only way to sort of... reduce the density and volume of your hair is to use heavy products that will weigh the hair down. Try using something like Eco Styler Gel with method #3 I show in this video. Let me know if this helps!

try scrunching your hair while it's dampish wet (if that makes sense?) and it will create a curl so when it dries it will be even more curly. and I know your against cutting your hair but you can _trim_ your hair every month or so until all the damage is off. (:

+diamond.bieber209 I have very curly hair as well and for a year or two, I straightened my hair every day. I decided one day that I wanted my hair to be healthier and to go back to my natural curls. I had the same problem as you. I had to get a trim (not chop all my hair off) to get rid of most of the split ends. It took a few weeks of not straightening my hair for it to go back to tight curls. By straightening it constantly, you're somewhat training (and damaging) your hair. It takes a little bit of time for it to go back to normal. Scrunch it for a few weeks and in that time, it'll go back to its normal curls!

I only do twist when I feel that ny hair needs to get used to curling together instead of it being single strands...I like when my curls make nice clean loops. I make sure there are not a lot of single strands just hanging because it makes my hair look frizzy

It doesn't look like an "afro" to me at all. A lot of what you're seeing has to do with length. The longer your hair grows, the more weight your hair has, so your hair "hangs" more and becomes more flat.

Kailyn Mabon I think it's because in this period when she made this video her hair was damaged (I think because of the keratin treatment) so her curls was looser and less thicker (that's what happened to me too) that's why she did a big shop, so she can make her true beautiful curl back again.
