Not disagreeing with anything he said, but adding on to it(as it relates to the first type of slipping): you should transfer your weight from one leg to another because really it's your legs that are helping you slip. I mean fall back or drop on your right leg as you slip to the right, and fall into or drop into your left leg as you slip to the left.
