The part where you’re almost trying to hit yourself is very good teaching. Like the regular hook. But add a whip to it, and keep your punch tight closer to you. Like a close up punch. Pretty much grt in your opponent’s face and BAM hook whip punch!

This is a very good useful punch for the punching machine for 800 plus power

Even when you throw the more powerful more body rotation hooks should you still ultimately slap your hook punch fist back into your chest after contact engagement with the target area?

by not rotating your body you just hitting with a ARM not putting the Weight in to the PUnch ! its a huge diffirence, the whole force of devastating punch comes from the weight + speed. taking one of this out you just having a slap with no power and force behind it....but if your students pays you money for you stories who cares, right?

its a way to double or triple up on them. its hard to hit mutiple hooks if you turn fully. Roy Jones does this when he throws multiple same side hooks

if you focus on only throwing punches with power you'll never be a good fighter, keyboard warrior

Just try to almost hit yourself. It’s like the regular hook. However 1.) go close up to your opponent’s face 2.) keep your punch nice and tight 3.) and BAM hook whip punch! No need to cry snd complain, just master it.

volume punchers use this technique all the time to open up the head or body and set up straights.
