Thank you my sister.I really needed to learn ho to cut my Pomchi. I have been getting him groomed for 3 years , but he really doesn't like to be away from me , and it takes like 4 hours to do the grooming and theeeeeennn you can't get in anywhere foe at least a week out. So I figured I would learn this and do it myself . My dog hates to go and that worries me , considering he is such a lover . So thank you for showing how to trim the paws 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 . It means a lot more to me than you can imagine 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽✅✅✅✅💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is a great tutorial!! I have 2 Maltese that hate having their front feet even touched. Do you have to hold onto their front legs tight? Also what kind of clippers are you using? Thank you so much!! 😁

I love how short these nails are! Wish I knew how to trim this short!
@tranquility93253 жыл бұрын
Just be sure to observe where the quick is in the nail. You want to avoid it. It's the vein that runs down the middle, easier to see on white nails. On black nails, you want to cut off small amounts at a time and be sure that you still see the inside of the nail as whitish and chalky. Once you see it start to get darker you need to stop cutting. I hope this helps.

Practice touching their feet when you are not going to trim them. This gets them used to your hands touching so that they resist pulling away when you trim the nails.

No, it was a #3 blade.

@@gabbyspetspaw but from what iv heard the The higher the blad the shorter the cut meaning I’m not cutting to much and deep I’m i right because from the vedio the legs look so short

Cringe...at the way you are handling those dogs. I'd expect that whoever's paying you to groom their fur babies would be uneasy...dog paws, and joints are not supposed to be twisted and bent in certain ways., but I'm sure you were taught that if you are a certified groomer.
@saramations2 жыл бұрын
You're high... All the groomers I've worked with basically work the same way she does. Never been an issue. FYI, there's no such thing as a "certified groomer". People can pay to take grooming courses or private tutors, but it's not a regulated business.
