Do it again, but give it the context of what you're trying to do, letting it know you are doctors, etc, and use GPT4 instead of GPT3.5. Also, give it more complex symptoms from maybe a real or fake patient that you are not aware of ahead of time. Then, compete to diagnose the cause and remedy to try. What this excels in my opinion is the ability to take someone's unique context and give a unique answer to. I'd be curious about that more than something that can just be googled like "What do I do if I have [already diagnosed disease/symptom]"? And if you want it to give you prompts. Just ask it to. "Can you give me some prompts or questions that if I answer would help you better understand the situation?"

I agree. You should do it again. Chatty is good when you create a baseline for it, like Tayo says, like: "Act as a virtual doctor. Provide detailed medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment plans based on symptoms provided. Include possible causes, recommend diagnostic tests, and suggest both pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment options. Ensure to state that the advice is for informational purposes only and advise consulting a real healthcare provider for actual medical issues." or something like that. It would be fun to see what you guys get. This was really fun to watch. 🤔

I DON'T WANT AI AS MY DOCTOR I prefer normal humans who are patient with the patient and who would want handsome doctors like them plus I trust the doctors becuase they have experience. My absolute RESPECT to thoes who study this field like a doctor's study is no joke.

The AI that won against Kasparov was beaten several thousand times by the new future iteration which now gets beaten by million:0 when it plays against alphaZero. No human grandmaster can even think of beating something like that, and they have said it openly.

For chatgpt to work best you have to prime it with some context and scenario and rethink how you ask questions. You can and should go into extensive detail in your context. For example: “chatgpt you a psychiatrist and I am a patient. We are in your office and you are giving me a diagnostic interview to discover what psychological condition I may have. Please begin interview”. And ask context rich question not google search dictionary type questions.

Personally about the "everything hurts" I think the point should be given to chat GTP. I don't know how it is in other countries but where I live (Spain) if you go to your town's medical center (it's pointless to go to the hospital. Same shit double the time), they'll just ask you what actually hurts and do exactly the same questions that are suggested in Chat GTP. Therefore, by using Chat GTP I would spare that time. For me it's 6 - 6 (doctors Vs Chat GTP) Pd: not saying doctor's ain't needed. I would always seek medical attention, however before heading to the hospital I would use Chat GTP in order to know the severity of the problem and some actions I can take into place to slow down its effects.

GPT4 has given a much better diagnosis to my father's illness when every doctor gave him useless answers. I feel it can't hurt as another quick opinion at the very least, but it shouldn't be relied on, but from my experience, I can't really rely on any one (and sometimes any) doctor. My father literally fixed himself through a lot of dietary changes and trial and error. It seems to have had nothing to do with what they said, and they even shot down the possibility of issues like lactose intolerance, etc., while that actually seems to have been a more likely cause.

We can say that ChatGPT is equal to or even better then the doctors in this case we were using ChatGPT normally without any prompt engineering or good prompts just straight up asking the question if we would have used a doctor prompt which is availible it would have given a much in depth and better answer compared to what it gave right now thats why ChatGPT wont replace jobs. "The people who know how to use AI will replace jobs".

Lol they're doctors, not prompt engineers. My MD sisters also tried to prove how GPT-4 isn't as good as a doc BUT THEY FAILED TO DO SO because I knew how to ask the right questions and make the AI ask me clarifying/directing questions... In fact, I'd challange any doc to see if I can solve his most difficult to diagnose/treat case...
