If you want bonemeal just make a skeleton spawner farm.

@@gabigaming1813 a moss-based farm is better than a skelly-based farm because you don't have to craft the bonemeal -- it's completely AFK. Crimson nylium-based farms get better rates than moss-based farms, however.

i feel like the whole setting the trap thing isn't necessary in river biomes since the drowneds just swim to the surface you just have to get close to them and during day they shouldn't attack you too much ive set up a house near a river and i have a lot of drowned neighbors

If you use the grind stone you can add damaged tridents together too repair them. If you want a fully repaired or “undamaged trident” then add enough damaged tridents together until you create a fully repaired trident.

You will need to place workstations near the villagers like one for the farmer and one for the hungry villager bc villagers need to work to spawn iron golems. Soo yea quite possible,would recommend instead just do a iron farm with a villager trading hall design instead

A little thing ive noticed with my trident, drowneds seem to drop tridents more when killed by one, so as soon as you have one it gets way easier

Sort of but not really cus as soon as the arrow does damage it’s gone so you’d need like a dispenser and a different set up which ends up being a completely different and less cost efficient kill chamber

@@BOPIN05yes, thats how my chicken cooker with foxes that I built from Silent Whisper’s design. The 2 foxes have enchanted iron swords with Fire Aspect II and Looting III which is how I get a bunch of chicken and feathers.

With the nautilus trading method, I am designing a farm using that mechanic with a 2 drowned farms getting, one to kill and collect nautilus shells, and the other to find a drowned worthy to trade. then a player pressing Q to trade it. If the drown doesnt take it after about 1000 game ticks, it will switch around. Once the trade is done, the trident will be collected, sending a pulse to trigger a drop to a trident killer to recycle the nautilus shell, and end up with a surplus. Its not very efficient, looks cool, and can get some tridents with the two drowned farms. Im thinking to boost rates by making it two player nether portal, and the farm with portals have drowneds that go in and get killed, their loot goes back to the overworld, into an item sorter and nautilus shells to the player. It sound nifty, and it works, being a little buggy, but still inefficient also needing to press Q or setting something up where a bot presses q for you.

that sounds really cool, but aren't you just better of making an enderportal drowned farm just for the tridents? I've been running that for like an half hour, and it gave me at least 10 tridents. which is more than enough to suit my needs. haven't used it since. Sure, durability is a thing, but throw mending on it, get some XP and you're set.

And yes, in my survival world I’ve built a farm that gets roughly 1500 drowneds in portals an hour, which is like 50 or more tridents an hour. Also if u build a fish farm, not too many, but a few drowned will spawn, and u might get like a few perfect tridents if lucky
