Awww your comment made my day! I worked so hard on this video and the recipes as it took me so long to create it but really happy you noticed the quality in it! I’m excited to share more of this series. Will you try one of these recipes??

Saeng, these are such wonderful recipes that anyone can cook on a weeknight. We need more healthy, fresh ideas for quick meals, and while I’m a complete novice at Lao cooking, I’m confident I can make all three meals and that my family will love them. My kids love super spicy dishes, but I can’t eat hot peppers at the moment, but these can be customized for each person’s spice tolerance and preferences. I’m making the red curry soup tonight, and I’m really looking forward to it. Thank you for sharing detailed recipes and giving an introduction to Lao cuisine that should appeal to almost anyone.

That means so much to me! I specifically create these types of recipes for quick home dinners and to make them more accessible to most people. I’m excited for you to make the red curry soup for you and your family! I was wondering after you finish making it, if you could leave a recipe review of that specific recipe on my website? Here’s a link to the written red curry recipe. If you scroll all the way down, you can give it a rating and a review. It would help me a lot. Enjoy the Lao dish! www.saengskitchen.com/laorecipes/quickredcurrynoodlesoup

@@SaengsKitchen It was delicious! Everyone finished their bowls and asked me to make it again soon. I did not use the chicken bones, but I did use some homemade chicken stock instead of the 4 cups of water. I used 2 cups of stock and 2 cups of water, only because I had it in my fridge and needed to use it soon. Thanks again for the best chicken noodle soup I’ve had in a long time.

Incredible recipes, have been watching your videos for the last couple of weeks and have cooked a few recipes, being an Indian, one does love spicy food and it is fun to be able to do Indian for one meal and south east Asian for dinner…quick and easy and mind blowingly flavourful. Keep them coming, you are doing an incredible job introducing your culture and cuisine to some of us who are now inspired to visit Laos.

I'm most excited to try the first dish, meatless. I'm a sucker for red broths and gravys. Is there a reason that, when mixing the ground for the last dish, that you first mixed in the spices and sauce completely before adding in the herbs?
@SaengsKitchen5 ай бұрын
the first dish can definitely be made meatless. Please let me know how it goes! Thats a great question. I mixed the spices and sauces first as I wanted to make sure it was fully mixed (and did a sample tasting to make sure it had enough salt which was not in the video) then added the herbs.

Thank you. Can’t wait to try your recipes. And you use measurements. I made Nam Vanh with my mom and it was so hard because she eyeballs everything and it’s hard for me to write down her recipes when she doesn’t use measurements. You know old school Lao moms.
