If you can bolt to your floor I used a 2 inch dolley wheel with a 2 inch PVC pipe works great

The tennis ball idea is great. I have an upgrade for that in mind, which is..what if you wrap the tennis ball around with a balloon? 💡

Any long term feedback re longevity of Bento ball? Wondering if it’s worth the extra $ or if it wears through with repeated use. Thanks!

No. I used that hack to provide an alternative, but I exclusively use my "store bought" landmine or my AbMat Barbell Bomb amzn.to/427INZK

I love your channel. Great hacks! I wonder if a racquet ball would work as an option.
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
Thank you Kacee! That is so nice if you!!! Thank you for supporting the channel! I actually started with a racquetball shoved into a length of 2” PVC pipe. It worked great….for a few reps…However, the racquetball would wiggle its way out if the pipe- so I abandoned the idea.

I like those others ones better than the tennis ball hack, but I also like my barbell bomb for versatility
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your support Carp! I agree that the Barbell Bomb is definitely “better” - no question! I often times will use the Barbell Bomb as the handle and one of these hacks as the landmine (because I am too cheap to buy two Barbell Bombs).

@@DesignBuildLift yeah I have the landmine grip they make as well. I really like the grip of it and it’s not ice cold steel when it 27 degrees

@@DesignBuildLift do you have any ideas or hacks for the ground of a home gym. In a rent apartment with others to workout as silent as possible ? Like avoiding smashing weight plates with a Soil protection, insulations etc.
@DesignBuildLift Жыл бұрын
@@memolibir which type of plates do you have? Iron? Bumper? Bumper is best for keeping quiet, but “crash cushions” would probably also be a good idea either way. As far as DIY options…you could probably make something out of a combination of rubber mat, carpet, and foam. I may explore this idea more giving it some more thought. 🤘🙏💪
