very clear video thanks! I am just having issues closing the post trial balance now. is owner drawings dividends? in xero it says my trial balance is 28k even though it should be a let loss of 6k so very confused trying to close out the trial balance, I followed your steps was was great, but I just can't close the post trial balance now to balance, do i have to add retained earning from previous financial year too?

Can you please show us how to do this in the accounting software. I'm just seeing it on excel sheet but don't know how to apply it in the accounting system.
