I did 4 mock tests in my entire time learning to drive, and failed all of them. The frustrating thing was my instructor never included all the elements in a real test such as parking on the left or using a secondary control while driving. They can definitely help if instructors do them properly.

I had my test booked for May, but my instructor thinks I'm ready and we moved my test to February 26th... Next lesson is a mock test. Kinda bricking it a bit, but your videos are helping a lot.

Tomorrow will be my last drive lesson before my test. I’m pretending to wear my confident jacket and doing commentary drive. I’ve been taking mock tests. This will be my third try. I keep telling myself I can drive and my instructor says he wouldn’t ask me to book if I wasn’t ready. I’ll give my best and just drive.

I've been trying commentary since I watched your video on it and it's been helping me stay focused so much. It's a really good tip but I do feel silly sometimes. I will still do it on my driving test though. Also carpool karaoke is funny but Francis can't sing AT ALL 🤣

I had a driving instructor who didn’t let me do commentary. He said it would make the examiner think i was nervous just know I got rid soon after (for many other reason as well). Anyways passed two weeks ago with my new instructors help lol

Failed my driving test in January, got another one booked for next week but my instructor thinks I should move it, I respect his decision but it doesn’t make me feel confident with my driving. I’m also worried I won’t be able to find another test date in time. And he says I need to work on planning and awareness which I know how to do but my mind gets distracted easily. Does anyone have any tips?

My instructor told me I need to work on the same thing. She gave me some info from a driving book about planning and preparation. She also mentioned I could practise planning whilst on a bus or travelling with other people. It's gets your mind in gear when looking at for hazards and thinking ahead for what other road users might do.

@@fitnessfran I don’t know why we didn’t do one really and I was confused as everyone around me were having mock tests maybe it was his way of doing it, teaching me everything on the road and then making me test ready

Think I want to come drive with Laura, best of both worlds and have a shot of banana vodka before the test 😂 Funny story, our Hamster “died” and my dad gave him rescue remedy and he woke up and ran around, and around, don’t know if he could past a driving test though 😂 I did a commentary style lesson with my instructor yesterday cos I find I forget to check my left mirror enough and doing that I checked it every time so it definitely helps. ❤
