When I was a child, my mom always buy me watercolours But I find it hard to paint using it so i didn't use it ever. But now one of my classmates shows me her work it was amazing so I googled watercolour arts and I like them so now I'm starting to make watercolour artworks because it was very beautiful, indeed.

Excellent tutorial. What I liked most about this was when watching each section and getting a feel for the techniques being shown, was, as I watched the second and third viewings noticing how the previous section looked as it was drying and the looking at the effects before then next layer was applied. Great stuff!

I love these types of tutorials, it’s informative and helps! Watercolor is so intimidating for me because I’m used to other mediums, these types of tutorials are inspiring and make me feel less intimidated to use watercolor.

Im stunned, wow, never nailed snow scenery that well myself. I do have a question, with the galaxy painting, what other paint could i use as an alternative which i can spray with a toothbrush/flat brush as well as i could with gouache and would white watercolor work as opaque on the bolder background colours?

I never would have thought to use pastels on top of watercolor. I’ll have to try this technique. I love using pastels, cause it’s fun to just get your hands dirty. Same with charcoal.

Thanks so much for this video Kristy! I am having a lot of fun following along. I was just searching through your videos and didn't see one where you talk exclusively about the brushes you use. I will go and check out your intro do watercolor videos, but it would be really helpful if you have one video where you just talk about what brushes to use for what and why.
