Start of Chapter 2. Go to Valentine. Get a rifle ( free Bolt Action at the hanging event by killing the sheriff ). Put scope on. Ride to Cornwall. Save your game. Ride through the train tunnel. Third post on the right. Look up the road to Carmody Dell. Guaranteed spawn. Good luck have fun. Edit: Mount the MFT and lead your starter horse to a railroad track or kill it with a dynamite. This will unlock the stables. Go ahead and stable the MFT. Saddle it up. Save the game.

I’m in Chapter 3 and love the Fox Trotter but was pissed bc u cant get it until the epilogue. But this vid helped me finally get it but I had to snipe the woman more than 40 times🤣 I lost like all my honor but atleast it payed off in the end for a really beautiful horse

Thanks bro. This my 4th or 5th playthrough. I tried on my last playthrough but already triggered it. It worked well on this new playthrough I did method #1. I already 100% it. So going play as arthur and live in chapter 2 for a long long time. Now I got the best horse in my opinion. It doesn't get scared as the arabian or turkaman. If if does get spooked you can tap A and let go of the analog stick and it will get you away without throwing you off. 😎

Method 1 still works as of 6/10/24. Try to copy exactly what he does in the video. Little tip that could help you is that once you get the headshot on the lady, you must stop aiming your scope or else she won’t respawn.

I haven't done the mission helping the lady with dead horse. Whenever I saw her from afar I always go around so I won't be seen by her. But sometimes I ride past her not helping her, before she is always showing but now she is not anymore why is that? I am still at chapter 2

1st method, after a couple of tries. I’d say about an hour the horse finally spawned. Here is some tips you don’t have keep running back and forth between the tunnel and the spot jut stay there, you can repeatedly kill the lady and she’ll respawn. You can keep aiming down the scope, once the horse respawns alive keep your sights on it and simply go to it and once your in render distance from the horse you can let go of the scope.

As of 8-11-24 the first method still works! I was lucky and only had to shoot here three times. Early in the game I encountered her, but just kept going. I lost honor for not giving her a ride. But if you ignore her, she will spawn again. If you do exactly what this video tells you, it works. If you shoot more than 10 times just load a save. But it for sure works!!

Tried this today from the face rock location. I've shot that npc dozens of times now, reloaded, tried it again, and again, but the friggen horse just keeps respawning dead. I'm seeing other comments though where it took quite a while for some folks so I'll keep at it a bit longer.

Playing the game as of 5/28/24 at 8 am EST and I used the 2nd Way 4:03 and she spawned 4 times and on the 4th she had a live horse 🥰 lve wanted this horse since I knew there was a way to get it before being John! The first way never worked for me before but I’m glad I found this video and the 2nd way work 😊 thanks so much! (I’m playing PS5 in case that’s helpful to anyone)

Thank you! I tried it yesterday (11/06/2024 or june 6th 2024) on PC and it worked. I recorded the game when I got to the tunnel and, on the first try, I had to shoot the woman 7 or 8 times, with reports of murder on several occasions and losing a lot of honor. I reloaded the saved game to start a second attempt and the same thing happened. Somewhat discouraged, thinking they had patched the game and it no longer worked, on the third attempt, I shot the woman and when she respawned again, the horse didn't die and I was able to take it, losing only a little honor. It's a totally random event and not to be discouraged.😍

The first time I tried it, I track it n all that but when I got out of the cut scene, there were absolutely no tracks around to follow! I rode that entire side of the map for hours looking for that horse but never found her. Funny thing is, I found the other horses she was running with! Looked like them anyways.

24 august 2024 Still works I tried 1st spot. Just reloaded the game after every first shot and first respawn of the horse and if it was dead than I just reloaded the save (I saved near this location). It took me about 5 tries to get it. Thank you very much!
