With trying to get back into the photo biz for years now, I've run the gambit of pp programs. Adobe is still my standard, with Capture One Pro coming in second. People complain about Adobe's subscription plan, but it's awesome due to their constant "cost free updates." Where I've dropped other pp's due to the overall cost of having to update several times a year(or less.) With what they want to call a "user discount." Would love to see Capture One go subscription. I'm also an "old school" tog, where AI is not for me. My photos, are the works of my hands, not some processor's idea of what I want. Heck, I seldom even use presets, unless they're my own!!!

Capture One is indeed a fabulous raw editor and I’m surprised you don’t know they got a subscription plan, if you like to have it that way. I pay about $10/month for my Nikon edition.

@@freetibet1000 it's part of my monthly bills, for I too subscribe to them also, though with the all camera setup, making the transition lately from 21, to 22 at no added cost. Not to mention all the recent Adobe updates, which for under $11/mth adds to the programs functionality.
