That last round reminded me of PRX vs. Loud, which PRX's channel happened to upload the voice comms of earlier today. On round 15 on Lotus where Something clutched a 1v4, his teammates commed to him that the last two, Killjoy and Omen, were low, and you can see him deliberately aiming for bodyshots. I also remember the Japanese casters mentioning that Loud's last two members were low hp.

For the last case loud vs edg (low HP case) There's a bug where your shot didn't "registered" on history kill until the round is over And during that much chaos, I don't even remember if I hit somebody thus no comms from my side.

Hi teets.. just a doubt.. In the last clip can we say that it isn't the coms, but the players overconfident of acquired reflexes of only aiming at the head.. Like I feel like if u practice very hard and master ur crosshair placement, it's difficult to aim elsewhere rather than keeping ur aim at the head level.... Just curious. I may be wrong

That’s not true at all… less plays awp often and doesn’t aim for head when he awps like every player past imm3. It’s pretty simple to see that he didn’t receive the call for him being 1hp. This could maybe work for a player like scream since they only play vandal and sheriffs and could autopilot headshots, but any awper inherently doesn’t only aim for headshots and knows when to just hit a body.

You could say it's an unnecessary shot in that situation when hitting the body is enough. Overconfidence is foolishness. Information helps players in that situation to stop people from doing something rash. Imagine a friend telling you not to mess up since your crush is watching, so you become more careful and on your toes. But it could make sense that they got too focused on the headshot when the game in that situation only requires you making their HP hit zero to win.
