One other point about negative feedback... You can leave a response to the feedback to explain in detail what happened. For example, you can say "Issue was disclosed in the item title, condition, and in description (in bold). Offered the Buyer a free return for a full refund but he wanted to keep the item and also wanted a refund". Your response will show under the negative feedback and will also show on the Buyer's Feedback Left for Others page. Note, the Buyer will have an opportunity to get the last word and then reply to your reply but they rarely do.

If you have thousands of positive feedback then 1 or 2 negative feedback won’t hurt you but if you are a new seller with 5 feedbacks, 1 negative feedback will put you at 80% which is a big red flag for most customers. So it’s worth to mention that you have to build good amount of positive feedback before you can ignore the negative one

Justin, I've been selling seriously for about 2 months now, up to 200 items in my store with about 100 sales. Using Flipwise and I have a question/idea. If Flipwise could input the data from drafts, that would be awesome. I often times source a lot in one day and want to be able to draft everything and then list it throughout the week. It would be nice if I could go ahead and input all the data (cost, purchased at, storage location, etc...) and then put the item in storage prior to actually listing the item. Thanks for the videos, I've learned a lot. And thanks for Flipwise, it's been working well for me so far.
@justinresells7 ай бұрын
Unfortunately eBay does not make drafts available in the API so we cannot ingest them, but that would be nice! Instead we will let you add items to your Flipwise inventory directly after buying instead of having to wait until they are listed on eBay. Coming soon :)

Hi Justin, I'm in my first month of reselling and I wanted to thank you for all the information you share with those of us who are just starting out! After watching your video, I purchased Flipwise, and I must say it's second to none. Even though I'm an organized person, there are still those days! I highly encourage viewers to check it out as it is extremely user-friendly and you don't need to be supercomputer knowledgeable. As a new reseller, I would like to know when is the right time to start selling internationally. It seems more technical, or am I being naive? Currently, I only have the setup to sell in the USA. My first sale came from an international address, but the buyer wanted me to ship to Florida. I was quite nervous and told them that I cannot ship there as their account has been set up internationally. The buyer repeatedly requested this, and I continued to decline. I know there is an international fee associated with this, but I need to learn more about it.

When to leave feedback is tricky. I leave feedback after a couple days has passed of the item being shown as delivered. I don't like the automated feedback because the two options aren't very good. Hello Justin, I just sold a mug! Thanks for all the information you share in your videos. Really useful. Had a question... Does size of store matter beyond more products, more opportunity to find a buyer... is there any evidence Ebay likes bigger stores/sellers? Is it worth getting from 250 to 500 products? Also, a little tip I haven't heard that helps me. I tend to find products I like rather than ones that are quicker flips (a mindset I am trying to change) but it makes listing more time consuming (and I'm slow) so I keep some dvds around to list on days I don't have much time. They're super easy to list and listing them allows me to list daily. Thanks! From one mug lover to another.

Hi Justin, Thank you for your videos. Long time viewer, just made this new account to start my eBay videos. Me and my Wife are starting to focus more on eBay to replace her income and keep her at home with our new 3 month old baby girl. I have 2 questions about flipwise I see a lot of things I really am eager to use. And want to try and use it sooner vs late but i know i use eBay a little different. 1. I like how your able to say “this item took 3 weeks to sell” but i tend to often end listings and use the sell similar option on eBay. I have had great results from doing this, does flipwise have a way to track that? Or would it consider it new inventory and that date gets reset every time? 2. I currently pay for a basic store on eBay. And have about 11000 items, but about 350 items have no stock. I’ve gone back and fourth about deleting them, but I have had people message me about an item that’s out of stock, so means google still allows people to click. There is no way to measure it, but I’m pretty sure people click and would like to think i have got a few sales from it. So on the eBay side I don’t want to delete it until I need the space in my store, but on flipwise I still get charged for those items even if they don’t have inventory correct? What would you recommend?
@justinresells7 ай бұрын
1. Flipwise retains the connection between all listings related to the same item, so when you end and relist you do not need to re-enter your data in each time you end/relist. 2. Yes, since these listings are still Active on eBay, they will be considered Active in Flipwise and count towards your total number of Active listings. If you don't want to get charged for those, you would want to end them on the eBay side. Personally I see no value in keeping sold items live unless I planned on restocking them with new units.
@collectmoe7 ай бұрын
@@justinresells thank you for taking the time to respond . I use the “sell similar” not the Relist, I’ve seen some KZbinrs test them both, I have tried both and I think when I do sell similar I tend to have better luck. Also when I did mainly sports cards I did have plenty of messages asking for similar cards or “do you think you’ll get another one?” This means when people google search and click on your listing they have the possibility to land on your store, and that’s one more eyeball on my store right? If I’m already paying for my eBay store I don’t see the reason to delete it UNTIL i need the space for listings. I tend to now sell a lot of band Tees and just this week I had someone ask “I see you sell a lot of band tees, do you think you will get this one in stock again?” (It was a KISS shirt) but the same person bought a metálica shirt. I still want to give flipwise a try soon Thanks again
