Nice video. Very useful to show how these jackets look with different body types. Diego's dad bod type is way more realistic for many, including myself. 😄. All these jackets seem to have pretty short sleeves. That's always my dilemma, being 6ft 5". Most of the time XXL tall is the ticket but not too many manufacturers offer a tall version and you are stuck with sleeves that look on you like the jacket has been washed too hot, or you are wearing your little brother's clothes.

Yeah I was delighted when I realized we were able to do a body type / sizing comparison, I always wish I had that option! Sorry to hear about you being tall, that sucks for jackets. Check out Proper Cloth, they do custom stuff online for bonkers cheap prices

2:59 I think that's a universal problem-international orders. It's even worse when countries have extraordinarily high customs duties, too. As much as I would like to get a waxed jacket, I need to explore more about it and also see if it's good for Indian winter. IDK if one could get these jackets re-waxed here. But it would be nice if Craft & Glory or any companies got into waxed jackets. I thought India was one of the handful with crazy customs rates but turns out there are many- and many more who have higher customs duties for specific types of imported products. Interestingly, Barbour sells their jackets in India.

Hey Nick! Love this video, picked up the James because of it! I didn’t have a question about your jeans, I really like the fit, particularly in the thigh area, compared to your actual thigh circumference, how much bigger is the Jean measurement? I have 26” thigh so sizing denim has been a challenge, keep up the great vids!

hey thanks man! this is the relaxed straight fit of Oni's secret denim, it's pretty good on the thighs though i got the waist taken in a little bit. but not as much as i usually do these days haha, that's just what i do now with pants, I make sure the thigh measurement is 25" and if so I just buy them and tailor the waist if I need to. This has saved me much heartache and I should have started doing it sooner!

This is why I appreciate this collaboration. Diego’s style is much more what I’d be looking for. For me (and my own purposes and reasons, everyone will be different) I’ve always avoided the F&T waxed jacket because 7oz just seems too little for me to think of it as a jacket, especially the unlined version (and unlined waxed jackets often strike me as more of an over shirt/shirt jac, especially if they don’t have a zip. For me, something like Iron and Resin’s Scout or Cruiser jacket would be more appropriate. Granted, I live in England and run cold. Them two options are both heavier, more durable, and have options for an actual waterproof lining - also zips. Everyone’s use case will be different though

Do waxed canvas jackets remain stiff or do they loosen up over time?

They loosen up a lot, and eventually they lose the wax all together if you don't like it. (I prefer unwaxed myself haha)

I really hate the fit of the Flint and Tinder wax trucker. Feels really 80s in fit... Quality im not sure of also... Got the Filson also and just tried the Freenote Cloth trucker both fits way better and quality fells better.. For me in Denmark they all end up costing almost the same. (Freenote Cloth a little more expensive)

Really interesting comment, the Filson is boxier and the F&T is a little more in the 'classic' and 'casual' direction - like vintage casual jackets as opposed to work jackets like Filson. I also like Freenote's fit better, not sure how I'd describe it though - "slim" doesn't feel right... Is this an idea for a video or is it too niche haha. "The 4 kinds of waxed jacket fits"
