3 Florida Tinders (Ferro and Mag Lens Ignition)

A look at what I consider 3 important tinders to know for Florida. I'll show the differences by igniting them with a ferro rod and by using a magnifying lens to blow them in to flame.

Your welcome and yes I consider it a tinder and one of the best. Here it is more difficult to find than in the Northern states. Lighter knot is what I found most in Florida for use

I'm a bit of a swamp rat, I've had enough experience to feel pretty confident there. Spanish moss is still green on the inside and doesn't burn well. It works ok when dried out though

Cory Boyd if you find the Spanish moss that has turned black it works great. I us it with my flint and steel kit.
