This a beautiful use of a very well knowledge about magic with coins, I see that the change of bobo is very useful, until now I always think that the change of bobo is very obvious but now I see my mistake Thanks!

Really enjoy this type of tutorial jumping back to the moment the moves happen while teaching. Also just want to say I believe the last action where there is no cover is the French pop which is a variation on the French drop used as a way, like you said in the video, where the motion of the hand creates the momentum to put the coin in finger palm and cover the action.

love your videos Lloyd! I have been watching your channel for some time now and love coin magic more than cards or other accessories. If I leave the house the one thing that always comes with me is my 4 half dollars in my pocket petal by ellusionist, I preform with them everywhere and this is an incredible routine to add to my day! The fact that it’s free on KZbin is also amazing! I loved learning this and will keep practicing till perfection!

Bro never fails to leave a smile on my face and have me bewildered anytime he pulls out.the coins. What are those coins Lloyd they look like the perfect size to perform with I always find coins here to be so small it makes the slightest harder lol I don't just suck I promise. Keep up the good work man love the vids
@seatedliberty9 ай бұрын
They appear to be Morgan dollars, but I'm not sure they're genuine- the sound they make is wrong and while hard to see in the video, they don't look like they have a reeded edge though they could be real. If Morgan dollars are too expensive (real ones are going to be at least $15 to $20 each), you can use Eisenhower dollars which are essentially the same size but only a couple of dollars each.

I've been into magic for more then ten years but never actually went into depth into coin magic. I know all the basic moves, but somehow sofar no coin routine has ever made it into my reportoire. However one of my new years resulutions was to change that. This routine really seems fun and i think gonna take the time to practice it to start my journey into coin magic :D.

Another option for cleaning up is to do something like a shuttle pass or friction pass with the three coins to show your other hand empty, then gather the whole group and pocket them openly, since the routine is over.

Do the French drop uising 4 coins from the tips of your fingers. I used to do this back when my fingers worked a lot better; 10 yrs af rock climbing and old age got in the way. please, I have not seen this performed since the day I learned the mechanics from a library book as a teenager.I was good at manipulation to the point where I could make the moves while walking a mall etc.

When receiving payment in gold coins, pirates used to verify their purity by biting into them. In other word, criminals only accepting payment in bit coins goes long way back
@seatedliberty9 ай бұрын
That is something of a myth- biting into a coin is likely to tell you nothing more than how much your teeth hurt- you cannot determine the purity of a gold coin by biting into it. Also, the term "bit" comes from Spanish coinage where the 8 real coin (or Spanish milled dollar) was often divided into eight pieces for the purpose of making change. This is where we get the term "pieces of eight" as well as two bits being a quarter because each eighth of a real was called a bit, so two bits was one fourth of a dollar or a quarter dollar.
