The 7 of hearts prediction card could also have a red back with a number on it. Turn it face up after showing the back of the double (returning the double backer to the deck in the process) Then, at the end as an after thought, suggest that a different outcome would have happened if more or fewer cards had been cut. As a casual demonstration, remove or add cards to or from the cut off stack to match the number written on the back of the prediction. It could also be a different color. No trick is complete until its effect is muddied by an unnecessary kicker!

This is great, Lloyd! I think one aspect of this that makes it especially appealing is that you've made it fairly easy to reset for walk around gigs. But even better, if you're doing multiple tricks for one group, the dirty deck can just be put away and you're left with a clean deck that can easily be put back into stack at the table. It just looks like they've been scattered and you're just giving them a casual shuffle. I feel like a lot of tricks that rely solely on using a gimmicked deck can impede a performer from moving on to other tricks without having to perform an awkward deck switch or something. Utilizing a full, clean deck takes all the heat off the second deck and you can just move on to whatever else you wish to perform, making this routine seem even more impossible.

Great trick Sister K this was a wonderful plot but the "prediction pile" is such a great idea. also I know you did the video Lloyd but you crediting your wife in the community post was very nice. Also, for dealing out the cards to the cut deeper 7, for a possible quicker reset could you turnover the cards face up which shouldn't disrupt the order, so as your resetting instead of reversing the count of the cards you cut to the first cut too card and just place the cards below that. Honestly not sure if it makes a difference someone let me know if it helps or doesn't do anything I would appreciate it.

Is Woody's stack easy? I've heard mnemonica is difficult. I really want to learn this but only know are bins. But doubt that would work
@trikuxabi9 ай бұрын
@@brianmendenhall8387 it’s the same difficulty. You have to memorize a deck of cards, there’s no way around it. Decide depending on the properties you want your deck to have (Mnemonica is more popular, Memorandum has more poker-related properties…) and give it a try 😊

those cards are beautiful! and thats a really cool method, but i would've done it a bit differently: i would have 14 duplicate sevens of hearts with the numbers on the back, and use roughing to stick them to the blue cards. then when you spread you split at the correct seven and you can end a bit more cleanly :)
@LloydB10 ай бұрын
I actually started with that method but I much preferred how open I could be with spreading and handling the cards with the method used in the video. Good thinking though man!

I can only speak for myself, but I kinda organize them in my mind like files in folders. Like... there's ACAAN tricks, sandwich tricks, locating a card tricks, etc. And then subcategories within those like Locating a card by forcing a card, locating a card with top control, bottom control... That way, I don't have to remember the tricks individually, I just think of what I want to do and the different methods of doing it will come back as I decide which way I want to go. Might not work for you, but it does wonders for me. 🤷♂️ I hope it helps.

Nice, as a hobbyist I list categorize my favorite tricks by type in my notes app. For instance I have top packet tricks, favorite openers, favorite closers, money tricks, coin tricks, etc. I try to learn and focus on one that I really like and get it down to memory. Then I put the time in to master the next one. Finally those get entered in my notes as 'set 1'. That way I can have maybe 3 or 4 tricks I can do on the spot anytime the opportunity to perform arises.

Stack is not needed I think. Once they’ve cut twice, show them all of the face up cards saying they could have turned over as many cards as they wanted. As you do that simply count the face up cards (helps with speed and smoothness if you can do it in groups of 2 or 3). They will not find it suspicious as they have no idea what’s coming next. Just a moment later you’re putting emphasis on the face up 7 of hearts and the number prediction has clearly been written well in advance anyway.
@sm55745 ай бұрын
I would do it this way: Show all the face-up cards and set them aside. Then reveal the next card (7♥️), and show the matching card from the other deck. Then (while you are still holding the other deck) have the spectator count the face-up cards, and then reveal the numbered back. The only potential downside is that you have to pay attention to how they count the cards, so you don't break the reset.
