A quick video with some ideas for where to position your feet while riding a Strapless kitesurf board.

Where are the best place to have your feet while riding and strapless board?
To try and simplify it., it's best to place your feet about shoulder-width apart, with your back foot pressed into the back of the tail pad. Do this for all tricks, jumps, riding waves and turning. With your foot furthest back, you will have more control over the board, turning and being able to pop the nose up more quickly for jumping.
To ride upwind, move your back foot forward to the front of the rear tail pad. This is great for general cruising and riding upwind. You can also move your feet to the back side of the rail when tacking upwind to make it easier to hold the rail into the water and drive against the kite. Then shift your feet into the centre line when ready to turn.

2:20. That is a freakin water ollie. That requires perfect timing, and that's just on concrete with a skateboard. Amazing. Also, come on 3:14, that's from wave surfing you must already know how to do that. I would like to see snowboards ditch their straps, too. Luke this is next level stuff beyond us "resort" kite boarders. Keep on. How about more scenery stuff, or just chilling at the beach side bar. Watching your videos are the closest thing for me to experience the life.

As always learn something from your videos ! Curious I am staring to jump on my strapless and work on grabbing my board. I ride a 5’6” Duotone Fish I am 5’9” thinking it may be time to get a smaller and thinner board ? Curious your thoughts ?

Great to hear Lori! To answer your question, not really necessary but might help a little, the 5,6 fish would be fine overall. The main thing is weight when doing non grabbed jumps, for that sometimes its good to even try and small normal surfboard just to learn how to bring the board up with the wind on a board thats is only 2kg. But for grabbed jumps the board you have would be ok. All of that said i ride a 5-1 square nose and to 5-3 pointed nose. Hope it helps!
