@@rvdnagel1963 man, I'm 19 years old, I primarily listen to metal and punk music but I started getting into frank zappa's music recently and it's just on another level. Out of all the guitar players I listen to, even the shredders and stuff, zappa tops them all. His music is just so abnormal and amazing. So I guess I'm one of the few of my generation that loves frank zappa😂

I think the whole family does a pretty good job taking care of the legacy. There’s a new live tape album they are releasing soon! It’s up on Apple Music already with only one song available yet. They release at least one big thing every year. I think they all are great, but dweezil has had a tough time with his family PLAYING his fathers stuff.

I, with my daughter and a few friends, took one of his master classes from him the day of his show (which I went to). He's a great teacher; extremely patient. It wasn't long, but he had some really cool ideas to share to open up our own playing. In the meet and greet after, he was really kind. His father has been creeping up the top 100 greatest guitarists list. I think Dweezil belongs on that list. I've seen him live 4 times and he just blows me away.

Dweezil really loved his dad and his music and is a great and talented dude. He and Moonunit who absolutely adored her dad got screwed out of their inheritance by their mom Franks money going to their two other untalented siblings. To make matters worse Dweezil was not even allowed to play his dads music in concert and his other two untalented siblings sued him over him playing it anyway. Dweezil is so talented and a wonderful son to Frank carrying on his music as no one else can. We miss you Frank but we still have your loving son.

Thanks Dweezil. I’ll have to track more of these down somewhere. Pleeeeez do more of these! I beg you. Your dads technique is incredibly unique to me. What do you get when you give a talented drummer a guitar? - Shut up and Play Yer Guitar. I’ve replicated the tone these past few weeks using an FM3. So I’m crazy enjoying getting those melodies under my fingers. But the technique is throwing a bit of a wrench into a lot of the muscle memory. Its like sneaking some kind of Mongolian dance move into a Tango.
