Oooh, this video combined with your Drop and Drag video for driver are very exciting! I got into this so much that I was shallowing everything, including my bunker shots. Then I went back and watched your bunker video, STEEP. Thank you for differentiating: different shots have different techniques. Golf instructors that say it's all the same swing are confusing. You do a great job of explaining when to keep your head back, when to go steep, when to sweep, when to go straight back, when to shift weight... Tell us more about your right knee. It seems to be perfectly synced with all you shots.

I've improved strike watching your videos Warren, with more practise my flipshot ( straight on good days ) is becoming straight or a draw . This driving video is a perfect step forward for me. Although I went up a few shots this past summer whilst I'm changing, I've come back down again in the right direction and trusting it at last. Very grateful for your help, thanks Warren, from York
@warrenbennettgolfacademy2 ай бұрын
Well done Keith for sticking with it, I think it’s important to have clarity in what we are doing and why we are doing it, then we can accept the bumps in the road, although still frustrating as we all want changes instantly. Hopefully your persistence and work will give you a stronger and more consistent foundation. I’ve never been to York, I must go as I know it’s very beautiful. Sending you my best wishes. Warren

Lovely mate! I just purchased the QI10 driver, it’s the standard one not the MAX or LS. One thing I have had to change with this driver, and I was previously not doing with my old driver was, to really keep head back at impact as you have demonstrated. And I was bombing them! Cheers Warren, and thanks for helping us all on this golfing journey!

Thanks very much for your message, feedback and support. It is very very much appreciated. Can I ask Steve are you a buccaneer or Jaguar? Hopefully the former this year! Kind regards Warren

Thank you for your message, and it’s great to hear you’re watching from NZ, fond memories of playing there a couple of times, truly beautiful but I remember the jet lag being brutal. Thanks for the feedback and remember with any feeling it’s probably best to introduce a little of it to your swing, but at the same time an acceptance that you will lose your timing a little initially until you get used to the new movements. Wishing you well. Warren

Thanks Warren. When in the correct position can i release my hands faster to get a few more mph? I find when I don’t release/let go faster with any club, I lose distance.
@warrenbennettgolfacademy2 ай бұрын
Hi Tony, absolutely and especially if you have a tendency to be a bit on the passive side with your release. It will definitely increase your speed that’s for sure. Many thanks Warren

Warren, i have recently watched your roll release video. I am hitting my irons much better but have just been using my arms.Should I use the roll release with driver as you advocate more body rotation? Thanks Alan have
@warrenbennettgolfacademy17 күн бұрын
My advice would be to swing the same with driver as with your irons, if it’s working with your irons you should not try and upset the apple cart. Warren

Warren looking at your video your ball looks to be a few inches inside your left foot or is it me. Thanks once again for your excellent videos.
@warrenbennettgolfacademy2 ай бұрын
Yes Mick it can go on the left heel that’s for sure, I think having to tee up the ball in the middle of the mat doesn’t help so unconsciously I probably put it more inside. Hope you’re doing well Mick Warren

Tried putting ball bit further back, hit some cracking drives, consistency is still a problem. (Plus age).

Warren when I practice like you showed us in your video: be a great driver, all my shots with the driver go to the left, Pull hooks every time! hen I do it with my irons or hybrid most of my shots are perfectly straight? What am I doing wrong. Do you have a tip or indication?
@warrenbennettgolfacademy2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your message and sorry to hear that. Three very quick tips. Ball position, make sure it’s not too far off front foot, maybe bring it back a little. Shoulders, make sure you’re not open at address. Backswing, feel the hands and club going around instead of up. Hope these help. Warren
