I've watched many golf instruction videos in past few years. I benefit more from yours than any I've watched. Your explanations and demonstrations are clear and to the point. Plus, I like your polite and humble attitude.

All the "expert instructors say" never do this; timing is the issue". I agree with you. I've tried it and it works wonders.

Can't wait to try it!

Thank you for this video! This is the sine qua non of golf and yet so poorly understood. I’ve never seen a better explanation of the wrist/release. Awesome, Warren!!

Thank you for your precise explanation of the rolling wist exercise. I have been wrong all these years about not rotating my wrists. Now, I shall follow your rolling wrist instructions diligently.

You have definitely helped me to improve my game Warren, I averaged 81 from the white tees, now I'm averaging 74, and this lesson, I believe, is the final piece to my puzzle. Of course golf is a lifelong learning experience, but my fundamentals will not change very much from this time forward, it's just mastering what I already believe to be correct, mostly due to your guidance. Thanks again!!

Thanks for another excellent instructional video Warren. This is the best explanation of wrist structure in the golf swing I have ever seen and heard.

Warren, this was bit of an eye opener for me. It answered questions on the release that I have had for a very long time. Great instruction, time after time. Thank you.

Just started this on the last couple golf rounds before snow hit. I was using less effort and gained a club length with a 60,% effort. Thx Warren

Great lesson Warren , I brought it to the range today and felt such a powerful yet easier release on my body. For the last couple years I’ve been trying to hold my wrist angles and rotate harder through the ball, that got me less yardage and harder on my body ! I appreciate and learn from all your videos.

I’ve always wondered about the release and what my left wrist should be doing. I sometimes do the left hand only swing and just sort of see where it naturally goes, I’ll give this a go next time I’m at the range. Thanks again you explain these things very well and it’s always nice to see Trev ! 😅

Warren awesome insight and with all the snow we have here in Canada I’m going to commit to this drill as a warm up while I work on the simulator. Question with my fairway woods is it the same release technique or are there adjustments to be made for fairway woods and driver? Thank you very much and all the best to you and your family in 2025 🙏✨🏌️♂️

The release seems to be a very controversial aspect of golf. One camp, like Mike Malaska and Doug Hansen, preach very little wrist roll. So being a recreational golfer it’s very hard to know which method is best. Pretty frustrating lol.

I agree and understand exactly what you are saying. I have had this dilemma for many years. I think Malaska has maybe more of the so-called push release. I think the release that Warren shows may be easier on the body, especially for older people. I have been practicing this release since this morning, and really seeing good results. Lets see if it lasts. What I do notice is that it does give me is a far more solid left wrist, at and through impact.

Any time that Malaska says that just ignore jt because this drill is exactly what he teaches in his (look cool) and L to L and also GRF Golf’s toe deep divot and Paul Wilson L to L. I feel it in my right hand though like I’m throttling a motorcycle through impact rather than knuckles down left hand feel. I’m not a great golfer but all of my great shots end up being this plus practice swing intensity and it works with driver to wedge. I wish someone taught me this on day one.

Everyone always says the flipping comes from an over the top movement and slice etc. I swing from the inside and pull the ball, yet still have a cupped left wrist. Go figure
