Wow, great areas Jacob! I would want to be sampling with a dry washer somewhat and detecting everywhere there! I wanted to tell you that I added your channel to my channel's list of friends under the "Channels" tab. Happy Hunting and Stay well, Aaron

Yeah its an interesting spot. Mine #2 and 3# were incredibly remote, with no roads or trail and not on the maps. So remote in fact after about the first 1.5 miles of following the wash down this mountain (starting at the top) I stop finding metal in the wash, not even bullets! (Not including the old cans found at the old miner camp sites.) We were on a mission to find and get to mine #3 which I only knew existed because I spotted the tailing pile while scouring satellite imagery. The hike was so long and strenuous when the wife decided she would go no further I dropped my gear including my detector and went ahead "one more bend which" which was like .5 mile and found the cabin. So I didn't even have my detector with me!

Jacob H wow, that is great and even more interesting than before. Nice research and scouting! I do a lot of flying around with google earth as well. Very cool.

This looks like the "recreation area" or at least the bordering foothills. Ever check out the uranium mines?

The area is frequented by 4x4 enthusiast off Burns Canyon Rd. I would love to hit some of the uranium mines I have never been on those roads that far East. Thanks for checking the video out!
