I have been playing guitar for 30 years. I have had beautiful Martin, Maton, Taylor and many others of the most famous brands. A couple of months ago I bought a Furch Vintage 2 Om_sr. For my personal taste Is a wonderful guitar, in the same league of the three big sisters. In my opinion this factory is the perfect mix between high craftsmanship and industrial production. They love guitars.

Spruce tops will warm up over time. IMHO, a spruce top guitar will even sound fuller and warmer than a cedar top in the end. That has been my experience anyway. Also it will change color, will turn more orange/yellow. What a stunning guitar the Red series! Wow!!! Amazingly beautiful instrumental!

I play guitar left handed. I came in contact with Furch Guitars while on vacation in Paris November 2019. There was an all left handed guitar store Le Gaucher (it means "the lefty" in French) in the Pigalle Quarter of Paris. They had a Furch Green and I played it as well as a Martin D18 and Eastman E10 . I was struck by the quality of workmanship and beautiful sound of the Furch. The body was larger on the green than I was used to. I got home to California and contacted my go to store Alamo music and now have both a Lefty Blue Master and Red Master. They are both great guitars. The Blue is a solid cedar top with solid African Mahogany for about $1000.00 it plays and sounds amazing! The Red Master has AAAA Sika Spruce and AAAA Indian Rosewood it's stunning but cost over $3,000 and I love it too.

Years ago when Musikmesse was still a thing I worked at a booth. After 5 days I was exhausted and wouldn't have been able to tell a Strat from a Les Paul. When I was leaving late at the last day I was passing the Furch booth and they asked me to play one of their guitars. I didn't want to be impolite so I played a few things and they asked me how much I think it would cost. I undervalued it EXTREMELY. I may have offended them and I am ashamed of that. Every Furch I have played since was incredibly nice and I am sure the guitar I played that evening was extremely nice as well, I just wasn't able to appreciate it that evening. That Red series is a dream.

Man i don't know i tried the orange masters and had to return it, besides the crafting defects it came with which is already unacceptable at 3k....i just had an awfull sound, literally 0 volume almost and it was dull, mellow, with no life or character, i mean damn man i played for 17 years and never had many problems with acoustics but this one really let me down...how does that red masters sound without the mic ? Cause i have the feeling that it has no voice at all without it or some amplification aid, maybe i was just unlucky i don't know what to say.

I'm disappointed with Furch, they become greedy. I wanted to buy Furch vintage 2 and it was $3000AU compare wit Martin D18 $3800AU and D28 $4100AU but now they increased to $3800 for vintage 2 and over $4000 for vintage 3. Furch is nice guitar but it is not Martin and need long way to go. Just greedy as they get good reviews.
@raduolteanu28293 жыл бұрын
You keep repeating this message in every Furch video. I don't understand why! If you prefer a Martin or a Taylor-good for you. They're still significantly more expensive than Furch. Each person can prefer what they consider to be a better guitar at probably a better price. From what I can see, Martin is stagnant in inovation and Taylor lost their minds with V-bracing (even the die hard fans disagree with the doungrade in sound because of it). For me Furch brings a fresh sound to a very crowded industry, all in a unique approach.
