Spare me. The best exercise for getting into shape is the one someone can do and likes doing. The first two are very advanced.

Obviously he has never experienced being overweight himself. Here's a few factors that he has failed to consider. I was 80lbs overweight and here are my experiences.....1) most fat people like me have probably never exercised....let alone with kettlebells. Most fat people like me will probably have mobility issues to squat down or lift overhead. Most fat like me probably will have cardiovascular issues to do any type of demanding exercises. As you said, the first two exercises are too advanced. And the last one is a no no too. Another thing about people who are obese is they are carrying that weight like a sandbag on their bodies. So no way was I going to push up my 275lb body up off of anything.....simple as that. Having lost my 80lbs in 8 months.....here's my two best exercises for weight loss. 1) lift healthy wholefood on the end of your fork. 2)....simply walk 30-60mins a day. The weight will fall off because you (a) stopped eating junk and (b) you are now moving your body daily. When the weight is nearly off or you are a good bit into losing it.... then you can go learn some kettlebells, dumbells or whatever.

Great exercises. However Snatches are pretty challenging for a beginner. What would you suggest instead ?

Double swings would be a great alternative

Just use light weights and it isnt hard
