Anything in less or excess than required is harmful Using oil before shampoo is same like using thermal protecting serum or cream before you use heating tools on hair People tend to have oily hair for 2 major reasons 1st one being polution (majority times these days) In this case you have to cleans hair frequently and regularly And 2nd being your natural secretion or oils and other liquids through yours calp and hair follicles It's up to you if you don't wanna use oil before shampoo but i can say with experience that no one has oily or dry hair permanently! As my hair used to be oily I started skipping oil and with time ( within 1 year) I realized my hair started to be dry and frizzy Oiling dry and brittle hair is not going to repair them it's just a barrier between your hair and surrounding polution and chemicals we use on them specially to clean them If you wanna skip oil you must use conditioner or hair mask after shampoo Oil works as good as conditioner on wet hair in small quantity than the amount of conditioner we use Just work 2/3 drops on your palm and apply to hair strands

@octoberaurora9223 I'm in the same boat. Honestly, meat just grosses me out. I take amino acids daily. Dr. Julia Ross sells the best amino acid complex and she uses vegetable "gelatin" for her capsules. Vegamour also sells a hair growth vitamin with amino acids and copper. It's vegan. Just thought I'd throw that out there. If you're vegetarian, you probably aren't getting enough amino acids. I highly recommend getting your vitamin D levels and B 12 checked since they often come from consuming animal products. I was extremely deficient in vitamin D which can affect your hair.

Probably because when you put oil on scalp, skin becomes softer and it doesn't hold the hair as strongly as without oil, so hair falls more than usual in that situation, which is obviously not good if you have alopecia. When I comb my hair with oil in it, I lose so much hair, so I comb before oiling. After oiling I don't touch it at all until shampooing.

I'm sharing my method which works fine always- As I use homemade coconut oil just 3 hours before washing hair (I'm from hot humid country so we do often), I take hot water and use it to soften the oil stuck on my roots. Then I put shampoo cause then hot water saponifies the oil better than cold water. Then I wash with cold water. This I do for 3times. Try this and see if it helps.

Those are great hair tips but there are also 💜 : 1 . Always brush your hair before washing it and wash the hair brush ( if you dont wash the hair brush and after washing your hair you'll brush it with that same hair brush then all of the dirty oils will be put back into your hair ) 2 . Do not apply shampoo on the ends of your hair because shampoo is only meant for cleansing so applying it on the ends of your hair is gonna cause you to have dry hair ends 3 . For a better result make sure that you apply the shampoo gently to your scalp massaging your scalp for a few seconds , instead of aggressively applying it through your hair . 3 . Always . And i literally mean ALWAYS use a hair mask for when you wash your hair and a keratin/argan oil to apply after you washed your hair . 4 . After having rinsed your hair with water , before getting out of the shower , rinse it again with cold water for the last time ( it is uncomfortable but this will give your hair a lot of volume and shine ). 5 . After you get out of the shower with your hair still semi wet apply your keratin/argan oil , from the medium to the ends of your hair ( never on your hair roots tho and if you do apply on your roots too then apply just a couple drops because if you apply more of it then it will cause your hair to get greasy faster ) 6 . Do not brush your wet or semiwet hair ( back to nr 1 . ) and if you do brush it do it gently as wet hair is more sensitive than normal hair and it could easily cause damage to your hair unless you brush it gently . 7 . Do not use a normal towel to dry your hair . Use a clean old tshirt instead for soft healthy hair . 8 . Avoid using the hair dryer as its very damaging to your hair . If you have free time that day it is better if you let your hair dry naturally for a better result . I basically gave you guys my washing hair routine but believe me when i tell you i dyed my hair 10 times during the past few years and this same routine allows me to have my long ( natural tho no extensions ) nice healthy hair . Hope this helps , Have a good day 💜!

@@kingdomofthecloudsandthestars You oil hair an hour/few hours prior to shampooing, instead of oiling your hair everyday and going out with the oil still sitting on your hair. Given the mostly tropical Indian climate, organic oils turn rancid quickly in the hot weather and mixed with the sweat on your scalp, is a very stinky combo! okay so the average person loses between 100-200 strands of hair a day. no you can’t prevent this, it’s just how a hair strand’s life cycle works. your conditioner doesn’t cause your hair fall, shampooing works these dead hairs free and conditioner gives them enough slip to fall out of your hair. whether you wash your hair or not, those hairs will still fall out every day

I read that murumuru oil is even better than coconut oil for oiling hair,as a pre- poo. For some reason, doctors don't bother to treat the causes of overproduction of sebum, which is a real problem that can ruin a person's appearance. It's not normal for skin and hair to be that way, because it's basically hormonal, even if that's genetic. Lots of genetic diseases get treated, and this should be the case with sebum problems. It needs both internal and external treatment. It's amazing how most doctors don't know or care about this dilemma ! As long as no oil is applied to your scalp itself, you can use a pre- poo for your hair. There are many videos about this. Some use a hair mask that's creamy, some just use a hot oil treatment before shampooing. Using a blend of castor oil, rosemary oil, olive oil to grow hair faster is often used for that once or twice a week. Some leave it on overnight, then wash it out. Others leave the oil on for an hour or two, then wash it out. It's always good to wash one's hair at least every three or four days, since doing it more could make the scalp produce more sebum,if done every day. People have to try different methods,to find the regimen that works for them. Everyone who has overproduction of sebum needs to find a doctor who's willing to look into the causes, and treat that.

Sorry this is some misinformation in this video....From Hair Care experts they say only use hair oil after washing your hair not right before you wash it as there is not enough time for the products to actually do anything at all. There is no need to oil or dirty your hair before washing. If its not oily enough or dirty enough its not time to wash your hair yet. I follow some great hair care professionals who have actually done their own research as well as learned. Careful where you get your information from people 😘 and remember lots of views or likes does not make the information true 😉

It’s literally just a haircare pre-(sham)poo oil treatment. It just helps hydrate the hair before the excessive shampoo & washing process (which we tend to already shed a lot of hair to begin with) & promotes hair growth, softness & shine. Also helps disentangle, for those of us commonly with textured hair patterns. Though it can help anyone with dry hair too.

It’s also done on hair that’s already in need of a wash, for better absorption; it’s a treatment. Then gets washed off/clarified for better results. ♥️ It’s not common in Asian cultures I feel but it is very common on very curly or wavy hair typings, respectfully!

I have been told by hairdressers to 1. Only apply shampoo up to a a few inches from your roots depending on your hair length. This is because the contents of shampoos can strip nutrients from your hair & your mid length to ends are older & can be more brittle. The shampoo you apply will clean the rest of your hair as you rinse it out with warm water. 2. Towel dry your hair (gently) between shampooing & conditioning your hair. This means your conditioner is not being diluted by excess water & having to use more conditioner. It is also nourishing your hair. 3. Depending on hair length, only condition the ends of your hair up to 2/3’s your hair length if it’s very long. I find combing or brushing my hair before washing it & applying shampoo gently, reduces the odds of knitting. Take a microfibre cloth to towel dry between shampoo & conditioner stages. And as you rinse your conditioner out, gently run your fingers down the length of your hair to keep hair straight & reduces knitting. And gently squeeze your hair with a towel to remove water after. If you have curly hair or hair that is naturally wavy, I have found finishing off with a microfibre towel & gently scrunching hair ends dry. And if adding any mouse, I scrunch again to remove excess. So far this has improved my hair health a lot. And sleeping on a silk or satin pillow case is meant to be great for your hair.

So I have oily hair and this is what I learned so far ❤️ for oily hsir you need light oils and you need to wash off your hair 1-2hours after oiling or less. Cause we already have too much sebum. When you wash your hair you need to at least wash it 2 times and water it well. use a soft brush to get rid of the excessive dandruff :,) sadly at first the dandruff is going to double or triple 😅 cause you’re literally taking it off your scalp ghen it’s going to get better.

My hair usually hates silicones, but this is the only time I allow myself to use it, and this is because if followed up after washing like the comment above, it also seals in that water and repels the chlorinated water around it.
