Great test, thank you.

It took me a while to decide but I eventually settled for B. Especially on anything that has a beat, it has the best flow and rythm + nice body in the midrange. I think the most difficult track is the Yamanaka one and for me, B is the only one that makes any "musical sense" out of it.

B was the Rotel A11.

First off i need to commend you for your excellent choice of reference tracks as it really shows the strengths and weaknesses in the systems. It's a clear overall win for the Rotel, for me at least. I wonder if the Technics is underpowered (in peak power) for the Sonus Faber Sonetto 1's. I've heard the Technics SA-C600 sound considerably better on "easier to drive" speakers. By comparison, everything i like about the Pro-ject and/or the Rotel isn't there with the Technics; it seems to lack snap on rimshots, pluck & detail on double bass, drive and character on Moroder basslines (Janis Ian track) or lifelike natural reediness & brassiness. @MadAudiofficial: Did you have any EQ or Space Tune on? Could it be underpowered for the set-up in your opinion?

No i Don't think the Technics was underpowered, since Technics speaker SB-C600 that's come with the SA-C600 are much more difficult to drive compare it to Sonetto 1 in the test. The SA-C600 it as actually a lot of power if watched my Review, just doesn't sound natural & quick like Rotel or Pro-Ject.✌🏾

@@MadAudiofficial Then i positively need say a big thanks to you for doing this comparison, as now i'm re-thinking trying/buying the SA-C600. It's a fantastic fully-featured integrated solution, compact, its pricing and price-quality ratio is incredible and for 90% of people it's all they will ever need. However, my ears are too discerning and i've got vintage Sony SS-7300 3-way speakers at 6 ohms to drive. If it's not managing to tickle my ears with the Sonetto 1, it will likely be a poor fit for the Sony's. I'll try the SA-C600 out at a hifi store with the L100 Classic (similar design and same year of release) which have an impedance of 4 ohm instead. Precisely that, it's that quickness or celerity that's just not on par with the other two.

Pro-Ject CD for me had better dynamics... Rotel had better... cohesion. It would make sense of the sound and lay it out better spatially.
